Las bater\u00edas de iones de litio ganan un rendimiento de hasta dos d\u00edgitos, con lo que se puede reducir costes y aumentar capacidades en autom\u00f3viles y tel\u00e9fonos.\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

La empresa\u00a0Sila Nanotechnologies\u00a0consigue mejorar las bater\u00edas de iones de litio, con este avance se reducir\u00edan costes y potenciar\u00eda las capacidades de autom\u00f3viles y tel\u00e9fonos que las usan. El trabajo consiste en utilizar un material basado en \u00e1nodos de silicio, electrodo que lleva a cabo una reacci\u00f3n de oxidaci\u00f3n, los que tienen posibilidades elevar exponencialmente el rendimiento de las bater\u00edas.<\/h4>\n

La compa\u00f1\u00eda californiana se empieza a dar a conocer tras la asociaci\u00f3n con BMW, este mes de marzo, con el objetivo de conseguir la implementaci\u00f3n de sus invenciones con el \u00e1nodo de silicio en veh\u00edculos de la compa\u00f1\u00eda alemana para el a\u00f1o 2023. BMW en su compromiso de cumplir las expectativas en veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos busca la innovaci\u00f3n para elevar el alcance de sus modelos.<\/h4>\n

En el camino de la consecuci\u00f3n de introducci\u00f3n de bater\u00edas recargables de iones de litio en el mundo automotriz los avances son una prioridad. La reacci\u00f3n qu\u00edmica convencional en \u00e9stas bater\u00edas, \u00e1nodos de grafito con c\u00e1todos de \u00f3xido de metal de litio, aunque ha sido optimizada llega a un l\u00edmite tecnol\u00f3gico.<\/h4>\n

Cambio de \u00e1nodos para potenciar el rendimiento.<\/h4>\n

Para conseguir mejoras sustanciales, al mismo tiempo que se garantizan niveles de seguridad elevados, es necesario buscar una nueva generaci\u00f3n en la reacci\u00f3n qu\u00edmica que potencie la eficiencia del almacenamiento y que se obtenga un trabajo rentable con los procesos de fabricaci\u00f3n de c\u00e9lulas convencionales.<\/h4>\n

Es en este punto donde Sila Nanotechnologies pone el foco en el desarrollo y comercializaci\u00f3n de la pr\u00f3xima generaci\u00f3n de materiales de bater\u00edas. Los primeros productos pertenecen a una familia de \u00e1nodos basados en el silicio que reemplazan los de grafito.<\/h4>\n

Su funcionamiento ya ha sido probado con resultados de un ciclo de vida elevado, hinchaz\u00f3n en la m\u00ednima expresi\u00f3n y alta densidad de energ\u00eda. Asimismo los materiales que utiliza la compa\u00f1\u00eda se incorporan al proceso de fabricaci\u00f3n de bater\u00edas ya existente con la ventaja de tener una elaboraci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica a escala.<\/h4>\n

Gene Berdichevsky, cofundador de Sila Nanotechnologies, destaca que en la compa\u00f1\u00eda se ofrece la\u00a0\u201cpr\u00f3xima generaci\u00f3n de materiales de bater\u00edas, que permiten un mejor almacenamiento de energ\u00eda, no requieren cambios en la fabricaci\u00f3n y aumentan econ\u00f3micamente la producci\u00f3n en masa\u201d<\/em>. En la l\u00ednea, Berdichevsky afirma que\u00a0\u201cestas innovaciones introducir\u00e1n un nuevo est\u00e1ndar en el rendimiento para veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos a principios de la d\u00e9cada de 2020\u201d.<\/em><\/h4>\n
