{"id":1073,"date":"2015-11-18T12:59:53","date_gmt":"2015-11-18T18:59:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=1073"},"modified":"2015-11-18T12:59:53","modified_gmt":"2015-11-18T18:59:53","slug":"empresa-mexicana-desarrolla-exitoso-nanodispositivo-para-cancer-de-mama","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/tech\/empresa-mexicana-desarrolla-exitoso-nanodispositivo-para-cancer-de-mama\/","title":{"rendered":"Empresa mexicana desarrolla exitoso nanodispositivo para c\u00e1ncer de mama"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Permiten localizar el tumor y lo atacan directamente, con ello se logran disminuir da\u00f1os secundarios como v\u00f3mito y p\u00e9rdida de cabello, incluso el paciente asiste menos a quimioterapias o radioterapias<\/p>\n<p>La empresa mexicana ROM Dynamic Biotech desarrolla el proyecto llamado BioDymanics que consiste en nanodispositivos de transporte inteligente de medicamentos para el c\u00e1ncer de mama que evita da\u00f1os en \u00f3rganos sanos, acelera el proceso de recuperaci\u00f3n y disminuye efectos adversos como ca\u00edda de cabello.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUn medicamento tradicional recorre todo el cuerpo y puede da\u00f1ar \u00f3rganos sanos y la intenci\u00f3n es que este dispositivo que lleva el medicamento se introduzca al cuerpo y ataque directamente el tejido cancer\u00edgeno\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 la maestra en ciencias por la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma del estado de Hidalgo, Rebeca Guti\u00e9rrez, quien dirige el proyecto.<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo a datos de la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS), uno de los c\u00e1nceres de mayor incidencia a nivel mundial es el de seno y de cada cien fallecimientos por tumores malignos en mujeres de m\u00e1s de 20 a\u00f1os, 15 son mamarios.<\/p>\n<p>La maestra en ciencias coment\u00f3 que la innovaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 en proceso de patente. El desarrollo consiste en a\u00f1adir el medicamento a nanopart\u00edculas con forma definida, despu\u00e9s se agrega un pol\u00edmero de liberaci\u00f3n y un ligando, una mol\u00e9cula de direccionamiento que puede ser la PSMA, que es la c\u00e9lula de expresi\u00f3n del c\u00e1ncer de mama, la cual dirige el f\u00e1rmaco para que llegue al sitio deseado.<\/p>\n<p>El ligando permite localizar el tumor y atacarlo directamente, una vez dentro libera el medicamento. Con esta acci\u00f3n se logra disminuir da\u00f1os secundarios como v\u00f3mito y p\u00e9rdida de cabello, incluso el paciente asiste menos a quimioterapias o radioterapias.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, con las nanopart\u00edculas se utilizan menos medicamento. \u201cSi en un tratamiento tradicional se necesita un miligramo, con esta t\u00e9cnica s\u00f3lo se usa el 10 o cinco por ciento\u201d. Con el tiempo se genera un ahorro econ\u00f3mico y los beneficios son m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidos.<\/p>\n<p>La tecnolog\u00eda a\u00fan mantiene ensayos cl\u00ednicos y precl\u00ednicos; sin embargo, se espera en un a\u00f1o obtener un medicamento que pueda administrarse en pacientes con c\u00e1ncer de mama y beneficie a personas de zonas marginadas, quienes no cuentan con los recursos suficientes.<\/p>\n<p>Entre los socios estrat\u00e9gicos con los que BioDymanics mantiene colaboraci\u00f3n se encuentran los institutos de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado (ISSSTE), Nacional de Pediatr\u00eda y el Nacional de Perinatolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, en el \u00e1rea de investigaci\u00f3n participan el Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico de Monterrey, Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n en Qu\u00edmica Aplicada (CIQA) y el Parque de Investigaci\u00f3n e Innovaci\u00f3n Tecnol\u00f3gica (PIIT) con la incubadora de Nanotecnolog\u00eda en Nuevo Le\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>BioDymanics, forma actualmente parte de FUMEC I-Corps M\u00e9xico, un programa de innovaci\u00f3n que apoya la comercializaci\u00f3n de la
