EE.UU. la financia.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>La primera central con desechos de cacao del mundo se construir\u00e1 en C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, Costa de Marfil. La planta utilizar\u00e1 biomasa de desecho procedente del procesamiento de semillas y frutos de la planta del cacao, de la que el pa\u00eds africano es uno de los principales productores del mundo.<\/p>\n<p>El propio Gobierno ha anunciado que la iniciativa, con una inversi\u00f3n de 273 millones de d\u00f3lares, habr\u00eda recibido el visto bueno definitivo. Yapi Ogou, director de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des \u00e9nergies nouvelles (Soden) responsable del proyecto, ha desarrollado el plan: el objetivo es construir y poner en marcha una central el\u00e9ctrica de 60 a 70 MW para 2023, que servir\u00e1 de prueba para un mayor desarrollo el\u00e9ctrico en esta direcci\u00f3n. El uso de esta biomasa forma parte del proyecto gubernamental para alcanzar el objetivo nacional que fija en 424 MW la potencia de biomasa que se instalar\u00e1 en su territorio en 2030.<\/p>\n<p>A diferencia de muchos pa\u00edses del \u00c1frica subsahariana, el pa\u00eds cuenta con una fuente de energ\u00eda fiable y actualmente exporta electricidad a Ghana, Burkina Faso, Benin y Togo. Sin embargo, el r\u00e1pido crecimiento econ\u00f3mico est\u00e1 ejerciendo presi\u00f3n sobre la oferta, lo que obliga a la naci\u00f3n a prepararse para una demanda futura creciente.<\/p>\n<p>Como explic\u00f3 la Embajada de Estados Unidos en Abidjan, la nueva central cacaotera es uno de los cinco proyectos seleccionados para recibir subvenciones de la Agencia de Estados Unidos para el Comercio y el Desarrollo (USTDA), que ya ha financiado estudios de viabilidad para la planta con casi un mill\u00f3n de d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fuente: Ecoinventos<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tendr\u00e1 una capacidad de 70 MW y constituir\u00e1 la prueba de viabilidad para la construcci\u00f3n de otras 9 plantas similares.
