La multinacional ha anunciado en las p\u00e1ginas del Financial Times que quiere eliminar todo el poli\u00e9ster virgen de su l\u00ednea de ropa deportiva para el a\u00f1o 2024. Se sustituir\u00e1 por la\u00a0versi\u00f3n \u201creciclada\u201d, es decir, obtenida a partir de materias primas secundarias como el PET de las botellas de agua.<\/p>\n<p>De hecho, el primer paso que dio Adidas en 2012 con los uniformes para los voluntarios de los Juegos Ol\u00edmpicos de Londres hechos con botellas de agua reutilizadas.<\/p>\n<p>En 2016, el lanzamiento de la primera l\u00ednea de\u00a0zapatos \u201ceco\u201d\u00a0producidos en serie, gracias a la colaboraci\u00f3n con Parley for the Oceans: parte del hilo se hace con material Parley Ocean Plastic\u2122, obtenido reciclando los residuos que se encuentran en las costas y que est\u00e1n destinados a acabar en los oc\u00e9anos. Desde calzado a trajes, creados a partir de viejas redes de pesca y otros desechos de nylon. La planificaci\u00f3n para los pr\u00f3ximos seis a\u00f1os es necesaria, sobre todo porque el poli\u00e9ster fabricado a partir de pl\u00e1sticos reciclados sigue siendo entre un 10 y un 20 % m\u00e1s caro que los materiales \u201cv\u00edrgenes\u201d.
