A tres meses de que inicie la edici\u00f3n 2018 de Expo Forestal, la Comisi\u00f3n Nacional Forestal (CONAFOR) confirm\u00f3 que ya se ha vendido el 85 por ciento del espacio disponible para la exposici\u00f3n de productos, servicios y maquinaria relacionada con todos los procesos del sector forestal.<\/p>\n

De acuerdo con los organizadores, al cierre de junio suman 185 expositores para este evento bianual que se realizar\u00e1 del 10 al 12 de octubre de 2018 en la Expo Guadalajara y para este a\u00f1o, se espera una asistencia de 12 mil visitantes.<\/p>\n

Este evento est\u00e1 dirigido a empresas forestales sociales y privadas, organizaciones de silvicultores, ejidos y comunidades forestales, fabricantes de maquinaria forestal, instituciones acad\u00e9micas, de investigaci\u00f3n, gubernamentales y crediticias y dem\u00e1s actores de la cadena de valor de la industria.
\nEn la edici\u00f3n anterior se dieron cita 296 empresas expositoras tanto nacionales como internacionales provenientes de Alemania, Espa\u00f1a, Estados Unidos, Francia, Jap\u00f3n, Pa\u00edses Bajos, Portugal y Suecia que presentaron productos forestales maderables y no maderables, tecnolog\u00eda y servicios.<\/p>\n

De acuerdo con la CONAFOR en octubre de 2016 se propiciaron ventas en piso por 281.1 millones de pesos, cinco veces m\u00e1s que en la edici\u00f3n 2014, cuando se reportaron 53.2 millones de pesos en transacciones.<\/p>\n

Expo Forestal tambi\u00e9n es una oportunidad para establecer contacto con los profesionales del ramo, organizaciones productoras, instituciones e instancias de gobierno relacionados con los recursos forestales, investigadores y acad\u00e9micos.
