Dadas las diferentes fechas de puesta en marcha, ambos podr\u00edan reclamar el premio por un tiempo. Pero todos nos preguntamos, \u00bfqu\u00e9 pa\u00eds acabar\u00e1 teniendo la bater\u00eda m\u00e1s grande?<\/p>\n<p>He aqu\u00ed un resumen de los principales competidores, seg\u00fan los anuncios hechos hasta la fecha.<\/p>\n<h3>Australia.<\/h3>\n<p>Australia parece dispuesta a mantenerse a la vanguardia del desarrollo e\u00a0instalaci\u00f3n masiva de bater\u00edas\u00a0a peque\u00f1a y gran escala.<\/p>\n<p>El empresario brit\u00e1nico, Sanjeev Gupta, tiene previsto construir un complejo de bater\u00edas de 120 megavatios y 140 megavatios\/hora en la misma regi\u00f3n en la que Tesla complet\u00f3 su planta de Hornsdale a finales del a\u00f1o pasado.<\/p>\n<p>Reuters inform\u00f3\u00a0que un consorcio internacional planea desarrollar un sistema de almacenamiento de 400 megavatios-hora en el sur de Australia. La construcci\u00f3n podr\u00eda comenzar \u201cen cuesti\u00f3n de meses\u201d.<\/p>\n<h3>Corea del Sur.<\/h3>\n<p>LS Industrial Systems (LSIS) y Macquarie Capital Korea han ganado el contrato para construir y operar un sistema de almacenamiento de bater\u00edas de 175 megavatios-hora propiedad de SeAH, un conglomerado del acero, seg\u00fan anunci\u00f3\u00a0LSIS.<\/p>\n<p>No han dado una fecha para su puesta en marcha, pero informaron que se usar\u00eda para almacenar electricidad barata\u00a0en horas nocturnas para su uso durante el d\u00eda, creando un ahorro de alrededor de 116 millones de d\u00f3lares a lo largo de 15 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Alemania.<\/h3>\n<p>Ingenieros alemanes est\u00e1n trabajando en un\u00a0sistema de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda a escala urbanaque podr\u00eda tener una capacidad de hasta 120 megavatios y 700 megavatios-hora, supuestamente suficiente para alimentar a Berl\u00edn durante una hora.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-51115\" src=\"https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Brine4Power.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1680px) 100vw, 1680px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Brine4Power.jpg 1680w, https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Brine4Power-300x187.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Brine4Power-768x479.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Brine4Power-620x387.jpg 620w\" alt=\"\" width=\"1680\" height=\"1048\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Podr\u00eda estar lista en 2023, cuando se espera que\u00a0<em>\u201ccambie el mercado del almacenamiento\u201d<\/em>\u00a0con su mecanismo simple, econ\u00f3mico y limpio: esta\u00a0<strong>bater\u00eda de flujo solo necesita pol\u00edmeros pl\u00e1sticos reciclables y agua salada<\/strong>\u00a0para funcionar.<\/p>\n<h3>Reino Unido.<\/h3>\n<p>El Reino Unido bati\u00f3 un nuevo r\u00e9cord nacional con la puesta en marcha de Stocking Pelham, una instalaci\u00f3n de 50 megavatios-hora que contiene 150.000 celdas de iones de litio.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, la instalaci\u00f3n de SMA Sunbelt Energy podr\u00eda ser eclipsada si los planes para un sistema de bater\u00edas de 350 megavatios\/hora avanzan en Graveney, cerca de Kent, al sudeste de Inglaterra.<\/p>\n<p>La bater\u00eda trabajar\u00e1 para una\u00a0planta solar de 300 megavatios\u00a0propuesta por Hive Energy y Wirsol Energy.
