Al menos, los vestigios m\u00e1s antiguos encontrados hasta el momento: se trata de residuos presentes en morteros de piedra de 13.000 a\u00f1os de antig\u00fcedad encontrados en una cueva cercana a lo que actualmente es Haifa, en Israel.<\/p>\n<p>Este hallazgo, publicado en el Journal of Archaeological Science, respalda una hip\u00f3tesis que algunos arque\u00f3logos mantienen desde hace d\u00e9cadas: la producci\u00f3n de cerveza podr\u00eda haber sido el factor determinante para que los pobladores de algunas regiones se dedicaran al cultivo de los cereales.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Este descubrimiento indica que producir alcohol no fue necesariamente el resultado de tener excedentes agr\u00edcolas, sino que se desarroll\u00f3 para fines rituales y necesidades espirituales, al menos hasta cierto punto, antes de la agricultura&#8221;, explica Liu sobre sus hallazgos.<\/p>\n<p>De hecho, la propia investigaci\u00f3n recuerda que los restos de pan m\u00e1s antiguos hallados hasta ahora podr\u00edan tener una antig\u00fcedad de unos 11.600 a\u00f1os, lo que abre la puerta a que fuera la cerveza la que precediera a la producci\u00f3n de alimentos hechos a partir de cereales.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, el descubrimiento de Liu fue casual: \u201cNo nos propusimos encontrar\u00a0alcohol en los morteros de piedra, solo quer\u00edamos investigar qu\u00e9 alimentos vegetales podr\u00edan haber consumido las personas, porque hab\u00eda muy pocos datos disponibles en el registro arqueol\u00f3gico\u201d, explica la propia profesora.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fuente: Tecnoxplora<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La cl\u00e1sica duda sobre qu\u00e9 fue antes, si el huevo o la gallina, tiene una vertiente gastron\u00f3mica que un grupo de arque\u00f3logos de la Universidad de Stanford podr\u00eda haber resuelto miles de a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s. \u00bfQu\u00e9 fue antes? \u00bfLa cerveza o el pan?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":11807,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[56],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-11806","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-ciencia"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.7 -
