S\u00ed, esto es experimental, y no, a\u00fan no ha llegado a la producci\u00f3n comercial. Pero piensa por un minuto lo que eso podr\u00eda significar para las energ\u00edas renovables.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Este gran avance de la Universidad de Hokkaido aumenta la producci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda renovable, ya que es\u00a0<strong>11 veces m\u00e1s eficiente que los sistemas actuales<\/strong>. Por supuesto, no sabemos el precio de las versiones comerciales de esta tecnolog\u00eda, pero imag\u00ednate obtener 11 veces m\u00e1s energ\u00eda limpia de un fotoelectrodo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00bfCu\u00e1l es el secreto del s\u00e1ndwich dorado?<\/strong>\u00a0Una pel\u00edcula de di\u00f3xido de titanio de s\u00f3lo 30 nan\u00f3metros de espesor con una pel\u00edcula de oro de 100 nan\u00f3metros de espesor en un lado y nanopart\u00edculas de oro en el otro. Cuando la luz del sol golpea el lado de la nanopart\u00edcula, la pel\u00edcula de oro de abajo act\u00faa como un espejo que atrapa la luz en la cavidad entre las dos capas de oro.
