{"id":12245,"date":"2018-10-18T08:23:36","date_gmt":"2018-10-18T14:23:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=12245"},"modified":"2018-10-18T08:23:36","modified_gmt":"2018-10-18T14:23:36","slug":"la-turbina-que-puede-revolucionar-la-energia-mareomotriz","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/energias-alternas\/la-turbina-que-puede-revolucionar-la-energia-mareomotriz\/","title":{"rendered":"La turbina que puede revolucionar la energ\u00eda mareomotriz"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Un proyecto europeo fant\u00e1stico: en su primer a\u00f1o de pruebas, la turbina mareomotriz SR2000 gener\u00f3 3 GWh de energ\u00eda renovable sin contratiempos en las condiciones m\u00e1s extremas.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Ha resistido las peores tormentas de los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os en Escocia mientras produc\u00eda energ\u00eda limpia de forma eficiente y continua. Hablamos del SR2000, la turbina mareomotriz flotante m\u00e1s potente jam\u00e1s construida en el mundo.<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto europeo Flotec (Floating Tidal Energy Commercialization) la est\u00e1 probando desde el verano de 2017 en el Centro Europeo de Energ\u00eda Marina (EMEC) de las Islas Orcadas escocesas. Y los primeros resultados han dado en el blanco: en 12 meses de pruebas, esta unidad de 2 MW fue capaz de producir 3 GWh de electricidad a partir de la energ\u00eda de las mareas.<\/p>\n<p>Doce meses de funcionamiento continuo y constante, que cubri\u00f3 la demanda anual de electricidad equivalente de unos 830 hogares en el Reino Unido y, durante varios d\u00edas, m\u00e1s del 25% de la demanda de electricidad de las Islas Orcadas.<\/p>\n<p>Para\u00a0Scotrenewables Tidal Power, la compa\u00f1\u00eda que lidera el consorcio Flotec, se trata de un logro sin precedentes. La electricidad suministrada supera la contribuci\u00f3n total realizada en los \u00faltimos 12 proyectos experimentales a la generaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda de las olas y las mareas.<\/p>\n<p>Combinando estas cifras con las de MeyGen -el proyecto llevado a cabo en Pentland Firth que ha producido m\u00e1s de 8 GWh al a\u00f1o- se obtiene \u201c<em>una prueba convincente de la disponibilidad de energ\u00eda limpia de las mareas<\/em>\u201c.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>El fenomenal rendimiento de la SR2000 -explica Andrew Scott, CEO y coordinador de proyectos de Scotrenewables Tidal Power- ha establecido un nuevo punto de referencia para la industria de las mareas.
