La cerveza es probablemente la bebida alcoh\u00f3lica m\u00e1s popular del mundo, sin embargo seg\u00fan un estudio\u00a0publicado recientemente, esta bebida podr\u00eda verse muy afectada por los efectos del cambio clim\u00e1tico los cuales podr\u00edan incluso encarecer significativamente\u00a0este producto proveniente de la cebada.<\/p>\n

El estudio realizado en el\u00a0Centro de Pol\u00edtica Agr\u00edcola de China y la Escuela de Ciencias Agr\u00edcolas Avanzadas<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>de la Universidad de Beijing advierte acerca de la vulnerabilidad de la cebada que es particularmente sensible a los cambios meteorol\u00f3gicos. Se espera que\u00a0el rendimiento de este cereal disminuya sustancialmente\u00a0conforme\u00a0las sequ\u00edas y olas de calor se vuelvan m\u00e1s frecuentes como\u00a0consecuencia del cambio clim\u00e1tico, provocando a su vez que la cerveza se vuelva escasa y, por supuesto, m\u00e1s costosa.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan los modelos clim\u00e1ticos futuros, los autores del estudio calculan una perdida del rendimiento de la cebada que podr\u00eda oscilar entre el 3 y el 17%.
