Que funcionar\u00eda incluso en invierno. Pero en el futuro puede que ya no lo sea porque los investigadores del Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico de Massachusetts (MIT) han desarrollado una pel\u00edcula que refleja el calor s\u00f3lo cuando es demasiado.<\/p>\n<p>Los ingenieros del MIT, junto con investigadores de la Universidad de Hong Kong, han desarrollado una pel\u00edcula transparente que rechaza el calor s\u00f3lo cuando su temperatura supera los 29\u00baC. Por debajo de esta temperatura la pel\u00edcula es pr\u00e1cticamente transparente a la luz y al calor, por encima de ella comienza a reflejar el calor.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfResultado? El 70% del calor permanecer\u00eda fuera de tu casa, ahorr\u00e1ndonos hasta el 10% de la electricidad para refrigeraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Aplicada a las ventanas en verano, esta pel\u00edcula transparente podr\u00eda mejorar la refrigeraci\u00f3n pasiva de un edificio sin bloquear demasiada luz. La casa se mantendr\u00eda fresca sin necesidad de usar energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-67598\" src=\"https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/MIT-Pelicula-transparente.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"655\" height=\"655\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/MIT-Pelicula-transparente.jpg 655w, https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/MIT-Pelicula-transparente-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/MIT-Pelicula-transparente-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/MIT-Pelicula-transparente-620x620.jpg 620w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 655px) 100vw, 655px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Nicholas Fang, profesor de ingenier\u00eda mec\u00e1nica del MIT, que coordin\u00f3 la investigaci\u00f3n que condujo al desarrollo de esta pel\u00edcula t\u00e9rmica, explica: \u201c<em>Las ventanas inteligentes actualmente en el mercado no son muy eficientes para rechazar el calor o, como las ventanas electrocr\u00f3micas, necesitan mucha energ\u00eda para funcionar, por lo que b\u00e1sicamente hay que pagar para oscurecer la ventana. Creemos que hay espacio para nuevos materiales de aislamiento para crear ventanas m\u00e1s inteligentes<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan Fang, por cada metro cuadrado, unos 500 vatios de energ\u00eda en forma de calor entran por una ventana junto con la luz solar, \u201cEl equivalente a unas cinco bombillas.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Por lo tanto, los investigadores examinaron las ya publicaciones sobre materiales \u201ctermocr\u00f3micos\u201d, es decir, aquellos materiales sensibles a la temperatura que cambian de fase o de color en respuesta al calor, y encontraron que algunos tipos de micropart\u00edculas se asemejan a diminutas esferas transparentes de fibra de vidrio y est\u00e1n llenas de agua.<\/p>\n<p>Estas part\u00edculas a temperaturas de 29 \u00baC o m\u00e1s se contraen en haces de fibras que reflejan la luz. De este modo, la pel\u00edcula se vuelve transl\u00facida y repele el calor.
