Por ello, un equipo de investigadores de la Univ. de Stanford han descubierto que la misma clase de algoritmos que permiten a nuestros dispositivos m\u00f3viles ofrecernos reconocimiento facial y de voz podr\u00edan permitir en el futuro la opci\u00f3n de<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>detectar nuestras primeras se\u00f1ales de depresi\u00f3n con un nivel razonable de precisi\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/h6>\n<h6><strong>C\u00f3mo diagnosticar la depresi\u00f3n con el uso del m\u00f3vil<\/strong><\/h6>\n<h6>Los cient\u00edficos recurrieron a una red neuronal, a la que alimentaron con una base de datos (la<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/dcapswoz.ict.usc.edu\/\">DAIC-WOZ<\/a>) que contiene entrevistas en v\u00eddeo a casi 200 personas, tanto deprimidas como sanas. En todos los casos el interlocutor era un avatar interactivo controlado por un m\u00e9dico.<\/h6>\n<div class=\"desvio\">\n<div class=\"desvio-figure js-desvio-figure\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.xataka.com\/medicina-y-salud\/con-depresion-y-conectado-que-hacemos-en-internet-cuando-lo-vemos-todo-negro\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.blogs.es\/dc0ff1\/13974181800_13b32acb45_o\/375_142.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"desvio-summary\">\n<div class=\"desvio-taxonomy js-desvio-taxonomy\">EN XATAKA<\/div>\n<p>Con depresi\u00f3n y conectado: qu\u00e9 hacemos en Internet cuando lo vemos todo negro<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h6>Cada v\u00eddeo se representa como un modelo tridimensional de un rostro humano durante una conversaci\u00f3n y un espectrograma de su discurso. \u00bfEl objetivo?<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>Detectar patrones y microgestos<\/strong>(expresiones faciales, tono de voz, fluidez del habla, etc)<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>que pudieran estar actuando como indicadores de esta enfermedad<\/strong>.<\/h6>\n<h6>Los resultados fueron bastante prometedores: el error promedio de la IA fue 3,67 puntos, lo que se corresponde con<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>una precisi\u00f3n del 85%<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>a la hora de detectar con \u00e9xito la depresi\u00f3n en los sujetos del estudio.<\/h6>\n<h6>Y si bien esta investigaci\u00f3n se encuentra a\u00fan en una fase temprana, los investigadores creen que alg\u00fan d\u00eda &#8220;<strong>esta tecnolog\u00eda podr\u00eda implementarse en cualquier smartphone<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>y facilitar as\u00ed el acceso universal de bajo costo al cuidado mental&#8221;.<\/h6>\n<h6>Aunque advierten, eso s\u00ed, de que dicha tecnolog\u00eda no reemplazar\u00eda, en ning\u00fan caso, la labor de los profesionales m\u00e9dicos.<\/h6>\n<h6><strong>Fuente:\u00a0\u00a0<a
