Es la mayor feria anual de electr\u00f3nica del mundo, y arranca hoy en Las Vegas, Nevada, EE.UU. Durante cuatro d\u00edas ofrecer\u00e1 demostraciones tecnol\u00f3gicas y conferencias a 180.000 asistentes de 150 pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n

La \u201cMuestra de Electr\u00f3nica de Consumo\u201d (CES, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) abri\u00f3 sus puertas a los periodistas este domingo, pero los grandes eventos para el p\u00fablico general se concentrar\u00e1n desde hoy y hasta el viernes, d\u00edas en los que est\u00e1 previsto que acudan a la feria m\u00e1s de 180.000 personas, seg\u00fan inform\u00f3 la organizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Los visitantes, procedentes de m\u00e1s de 155 pa\u00edses, podr\u00e1n observar de primera mano las \u00faltimas novedades de 4.500 compa\u00f1\u00edas de la industria electr\u00f3nica, desde gigantes como Samsung, LG, General Electric, Intel, Huawei, AMD e IBM, hasta peque\u00f1as empresas de distintas partes del mundo y \u201cstartups\u201d.<\/p>\n

Avances del 5G<\/strong>
\nCES ser\u00e1 la primera gran cita internacional de 2019 en la que se puedan observar los avances del sector con respecto a la red de quinta generaci\u00f3n o 5G, todav\u00eda m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida que la actual 4G y dise\u00f1ada para facilitar la implementaci\u00f3n del \u201cinternet de las cosas\u201d.<\/p>\n

3 aplicaciones para organizarte en 2019<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Aunque la telefon\u00eda m\u00f3vil nunca ha sido el plato fuerte de CES (normalmente los fabricantes se guardan las grandes novedades en este \u00e1mbito para el Mobile World Congress que se celebra en febrero en Barcelona), la feria de Las Vegas servir\u00e1 para comprobar el potencial del 5G en todo tipo de objetos cotidianos.<\/p>\n

Televisores, software para autom\u00f3viles, art\u00edculos sanitarios, electrodom\u00e9sticos como microondas y refrigeradoras y toda clase de objetos que s\u00ed desempe\u00f1an un papel fundamental en CES est\u00e1n llamados a integrar la red de quinta generaci\u00f3n para desatar todo el potencial de su faceta \u201cinteligente\u201d en la interacci\u00f3n con los usuarios.<\/p>\n

Televisi\u00f3n 8K<\/strong>
\nLos principales fabricantes mostrar\u00e1n sus \u00faltimos modelos 8K, la mayor resoluci\u00f3n existente con 33 millones de p\u00edxeles y que llega a 2019 tras haber pisado fuerte el a\u00f1o pasado. Lo \u00fanico es que, pese a su impresionante resoluci\u00f3n, hoy en d\u00eda apenas hay contenidos en el mercado que usen esta tecnolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, la multinacional surcoreana Samsung present\u00f3 ayer su apuesta por la tecnolog\u00eda MicroLED, con un televisor de alt\u00edsima resoluci\u00f3n 4K y de 75 pulgadas, lo que representa una reducci\u00f3n sustancial del tama\u00f1o que este tipo de aparatos presentaban hasta la fecha y lo hace m\u00e1s f\u00e1cilmente adaptable al hogar.<\/p>\n

Esta se basa en la combinaci\u00f3n de placas con millones de chips LED inorg\u00e1nicos (y por tanto de duraci\u00f3n ilimitada) que emiten su propia luz, sin necesidad de iluminaci\u00f3n posterior, lo que permite crear pantallas sin apenas grosor.<\/p>\n

Aplicaciones para un estilo de vida saludable<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Tecnolog\u00eda para la salud<\/strong>
\nUno de los segmentos de mercado que est\u00e1n llamados a tener una presencia estelar en el congreso de este a\u00f1o es el de la tecnolog\u00eda para la salud y el ejercicio f\u00edsico.<\/p>\n

Algunas de las curiosidades en este campo que se podr\u00e1n ver estos d\u00edas son monitores de presi\u00f3n sangu\u00ednea incrustados en la ropa y complementos, una m\u00e1scara para dormir que combate el \u201cjet lag\u201d y relojes inteligentes que se cargan mediante el calor corporal.<\/p>\n

De hecho, ayer la multinacional estadounidense Procter & Gamble present\u00f3 un cepillo de dientes \u201cinteligente\u201d, que se sirve de sensores e inteligencia artificial para recomendar mejoras personalizadas que permitan perfeccionar la limpieza bucal.<\/p>\n
