Una informaci\u00f3n muy grave y preocupante, ya que la tendencia sigue un r\u00e1pido crecimiento.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>En la Ant\u00e1rtida los glaciares se derriten a una velocidad que jam\u00e1s se hab\u00eda visto antes. Cada a\u00f1o se pierden millones de toneladas de hielo. Por desgracia es algo que pasa r\u00e1pidamente y no se detiene.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Un 280% ha aumentado la tasa de fusi\u00f3n de la Ant\u00e1rtida en los \u00faltimos 20 a\u00f1os<\/strong>. Por lo que se ven en riesgo las zonas m\u00e1s vulnerables.<\/p>\n<h5>Informe de la revista PNSA.<\/h5>\n<p>La revista cient\u00edfica PNSA, en un<span>\u00a0<\/span>estudio reciente<span>\u00a0<\/span>sobre el estado de salud del continente Ant\u00e1rtico, inform\u00f3 que<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>el hielo en la Ant\u00e1rtica se est\u00e1 derritiendo como nunca antes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Para esta investigaci\u00f3n se tom\u00f3 como muestra los \u00faltimos 40 a\u00f1os. Se realiz\u00f3 a partir 1979. Como resultado pudieron deducir que<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>durante este periodo la perdida de hielo entre 1979 y 1990 fue de 1 bill\u00f3n de toneladas por a\u00f1o (1 gigatoneladas)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>No obstante, en los \u00faltimos 20 a\u00f1os est\u00e1 perdida se ha acelerado en un 280%. La investigaci\u00f3n detect\u00f3 176 puntos estrat\u00e9gicos en las costas de la Ant\u00e1rtica. En estos lugares es donde cada vez m\u00e1s penetra el agua salada, provocando una fusi\u00f3n mayor del hielo.<\/p>\n<p>Por otra parte,\u00a0<strong>las nevadas han disminuido paulatinamente<\/strong>. Por lo tanto se crea un desequilibrio que pone en peligro la preservaci\u00f3n del continente.<\/p>\n<p>La preocupaci\u00f3n es alarmante, ya que por primera vez se registra un desequilibrio de esta magnitud en el oeste de la Ant\u00e1rtida. Esta zona es considerada por los investigadores, como m\u00e1s resistente a los cambios r\u00e1pidos.<\/p>\n<p>Eric Rignot. Coordinador de investigaci\u00f3n en la Universidad de California, explic\u00f3:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cNo esper\u00e1bamos que la contribuci\u00f3n de la Ant\u00e1rtida occidental a la disoluci\u00f3n fuera tan importante\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEl deshielo est\u00e1 ocurriendo en los lugares m\u00e1s vulnerables del continente, lugares que podr\u00edan causar el aumento de los mares y oc\u00e9anos varios metros en los pr\u00f3ximos doscientos a\u00f1os\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Fuente: Ecoinventos<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Una nueva investigaci\u00f3n calcula que\u00a0la Ant\u00e1rtida pierde cada a\u00f1o alrededor de 252 mil millones de toneladas de hielo.
