Pero hay una esperanza, un robot submarino que siembra larvas que soportan aguas c\u00e1lidas.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Los corales est\u00e1n seriamente amenazados por las<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>pr\u00e1cticas pesqueras destructivas, la contaminaci\u00f3n y<span>\u00a0<\/span>calentamiento de las aguas.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A consecuencia de esto,<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>los corales pierden sus algas simbi\u00f3ticas y los tejidos vivos se vuelven transparentes<\/strong>. Dicha afecci\u00f3n los aniquila.<\/p>\n<h5>La Rob\u00f3tica a favor del medio ambiente.<\/h5>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-70257\" src=\"https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/LarvalBot-funcionamiento.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"611\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/LarvalBot-funcionamiento.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/LarvalBot-funcionamiento-300x183.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/LarvalBot-funcionamiento-768x469.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/LarvalBot-funcionamiento-620x379.jpg 620w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>La Universidad de Tecnolog\u00eda de Queensland (QUT) ha desarrollado un<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>robot submarino que puede transportar hasta 100.000 peque\u00f1os corales resistentes al calor<\/strong>. Las larvas de coral provienen de Australia y tiene alta tolerancia a las aguas c\u00e1lidas t\u00edpicas de la zona.<\/p>\n<p>Larvalpot viene a complementar las acciones de otro protector conocido como<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>COTSbot, creado para controlar la poblaci\u00f3n de estrella de mar\u00a0<em>corona de espinas<\/em><\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>que se alimentan de corales vivos.<\/p>\n<p>Esta estrella de mar es nativa de los arrecifes de coral indopac\u00edficos, en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os ha habido una explosi\u00f3n demogr\u00e1fica, en parte como resultado de la sobrepesca de sus depredadores naturales, como los caracoles trit\u00f3n gigantes y el pez napole\u00f3n maor\u00ed. Este peque\u00f1o robot las detecta y elimina, controlando as\u00ed su poblaci\u00f3n y evitando que perjudique los arrecifes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LarvalBot se apoya en la restauraci\u00f3n larvaria de los arrecifes de coral<\/strong>. Para esto, los desoves se hacen en grandes recintos flotantes y una vez que se han desarrollado las larvas, se colocan en el robot hasta que se roc\u00edan\u00a0en \u00e1reas muertas del arrecife.<\/p>\n<h5>La reproducci\u00f3n de los corales.<\/h5>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-70258\" src=\"https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Larvalpot.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Larvalpot.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Larvalpot-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Larvalpot-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Larvalpot-620x465.jpg 620w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>El coral bebe debe asentarse para crecer y ser\u00e1 capaz de reproducirse aproximadamente durante tres a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>El desove de corales suele ocurrir a finales de noviembre, cuando suelen florecer.<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>Cuando liberan sus\u00a0gametos<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>se forman nubes amarillas, blancas y anaranjadas en todas las zonas donde hay arrecifes.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando las flores suben a la superficie ocurre la<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>fertilizaci\u00f3n.<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>En su momento los embriones se convierten en larvas y luego descienden al fondo marino para adherirse al sustrato y formar una colonia.<\/p>\n<p>Se espera que tres robots Larvalpot recojan las flores para sembrar arrecifes al ritmo de<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>1.500 metros cuadrados a la hora.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"700\" height=\"390\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/D1qtR2OAVDM\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fuente: Ecoinventos<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Los corales est\u00e1n seriamente amenazados ante la coyuntura ambiental actual.
