Sirve para heridas serias, quemaduras de segundo grado, heridas quir\u00fargicas, heridas abiertas o parcialmente profundas\u201d, dijo la doctora Chen Barak, presidenta de Nanomedic a los medios israel\u00edes en su presentaci\u00f3n. Y a\u00f1adi\u00f3: \u201cTrataremos tambi\u00e9n heridas cr\u00f3nicas y enfermedades dermatol\u00f3gicas\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>El aparato, llamado<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>SpinCare<\/strong>, es un sistema que crea una reparaci\u00f3n de tejidos localizada sin el contacto del cuidador. Se usa ya en hospitales europeos e israel\u00edes y saldr\u00e1 al mercado a lo largo de este a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa caracter\u00edstica \u00fanica de nuestro aparato es que fabricamos una capa de piel temporal, una capa protectora que permanece sobre la herida durante el proceso de curaci\u00f3n. La soluci\u00f3n de pol\u00edmero patentada que usamos tiene propiedades espec\u00edficas para el tratamiento de la herida\u201d, asegur\u00f3 Barak.<\/p>\n<p>La empresa anunci\u00f3 que pretende agregar la aprobaci\u00f3n de la FDA a su patente.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa capa protectora se aplica desde unos 20 cent\u00edmetros de la herida, sin tocarla. Se siente como un aire delicado sobre la zona\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Barak.<\/p>\n<p>Al no ser tocada la herida, se reduce la posibilidad de infecci\u00f3n, y al no necesitar reemplazo, puesto que permanece semanas en su sitio, hasta el fin del tratamiento, se evita el doloroso y traum\u00e1tico proceso de cambio de vendajes, fundamental tanto para pacientes como para cuidadores.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, la capa protectora permite volver a la vida normal, incluidas duchas.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS), las heridas por quemaduras siguen siendo una de las principales causas de fallecimiento accidental.
