Nos enga\u00f1amos. Afectan a nuestras vidas de maneras que a menudo se nos escapan y, en el caso de la inteligencia artificial, ni siquiera entendemos. \u201cLa tecnolog\u00eda se disfraza de progreso incuestionable\u201d, sostuvo hace poco en una conversaci\u00f3n a tres bandas en Linkedin el dise\u00f1ador<span>\u00a0<\/span>Alberto Barreiro.<span>\u00a0<\/span>\u201cY esto es precisamente lo que la hace tan peligrosa\u201d.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Fil\u00f3sofos e intelectuales piden continuamente un debate \u00e9tico sobre el futuro que estamos creando a toda velocidad. \u00bfEstamos asegurando el progreso de la humanidad? \u00bfNo parece m\u00e1s bien que avanzamos tecnol\u00f3gicamente simplemente porque podemos? Cuesta pensar que pueda haber un poder que asegure que IA, big data, redes sociales o plataformas<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>colaborativas<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span>nos est\u00e9n acercando hacia fines benignos. En primer lugar, porque ni siquiera somos capaces de ponernos de acuerdo sobre qu\u00e9 es benigno y qu\u00e9 no.<\/p>\n<p>Ni siquiera sabemos si existe el progreso en realidad. Sabemos que la tecnolog\u00eda avanza porque una innovaci\u00f3n se basa en la anterior. Pero, \u00bfse aplica esto al progreso? \u00bfY si la civilizaci\u00f3n, como dice el<span>\u00a0<\/span>fil\u00f3sofo John N. Gray, no es un estado permanente, sino algo gaseoso que puede retroceder r\u00e1pidamente en \u00e9pocas de crisis (es decir, lo que estamos viviendo\u00a0ahora\u2026)?<\/p>\n<p>Entonces, la tecnolog\u00eda no ser\u00eda avance, sino la herramienta \u00fatil que servir\u00eda para adormecernos, manipularnos y controlarnos.
