UU. han desarrollado un diminuto sensor neuronal inal\u00e1mbrico, capaz de disolverse luego de cumplir con sus funciones de an\u00e1lisis y monitoreo. Esta creaci\u00f3n significar\u00eda un gran avance en su sector, ya que elimina la necesidad de realizar una delicada cirug\u00eda para sustraer el sensor.<\/p>\n<p>Medir la\u00a0presi\u00f3n y temperatura intracraneal\u00a0de los pacientes con alguna lesi\u00f3n cerebral es un asunto delicado que actualmente requiere el uso de un costoso e impreciso equipo m\u00e9dico, lleno de cables y con amplias dimensiones, que alteran las condiciones de vida de los afectados, este implante bioel\u00e9ctrico en cambio permite\u00a0una mejor calidad de vida, a la par que ahorra posibles complicaciones futuras.<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto que ha dado origen a esta tecnolog\u00eda fue publicado en la m\u00e1s reciente edici\u00f3n de la revista\u00a0Nature,\u00a0en un documento firmado por\u00a0el neurocirujano\u00a0Rory K.J. Murphy,\u00a0como co-autor del estudio, destacando las virtudes de este implante, que adem\u00e1s de evitar alguna cirug\u00eda,\u00a0disminuye el riesgo de que el usuario contraiga inflamaciones cr\u00f3nicas o infecciones, as\u00ed como erosiones en la piel o el \u00f3rgano.<\/p>\n<p>Los implantes autodegradables de Murphy representar\u00edan\u00a0la manera m\u00e1s precisa de calcular los niveles reales de presi\u00f3n intercraneal\u00a0en los pacientes, ya que los m\u00e9todos actuales no son tan exactos.<\/p>\n<p>Otra de sus ventajas es que\u00a0no generan respuesta inmune en los pacientes, y una vez que se afine su dise\u00f1o en teor\u00eda podr\u00edan instalarse en cualquier \u00f3rgano del cuerpo humano, para analizar su estado y enviar toda la informaci\u00f3n recopilada por v\u00eda inal\u00e1mbrica.<\/p>\n<p>Por desgracia a\u00fan le queda algo de trayectoria a esta invento, ya que\u00a0la investigaci\u00f3n de Nature\u00a0fue realizada a trav\u00e9s de una serie de pruebas en un grupo de roedores, demostrando su efectividad.<\/p>\n<p>La biomedicina est\u00e1 dando pasos gigantes en sus avances, durante los \u00faltimos meses hemos visto otros ejemplos de sensores,\u00a0un poco m\u00e1s convencionales en su dise\u00f1o, pero tambi\u00e9n impresionantes en su desempe\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El sensor pronto podr\u00eda ser probado en humanos.
