{"id":14281,"date":"2019-02-28T09:59:25","date_gmt":"2019-02-28T15:59:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=14281"},"modified":"2019-02-28T09:59:25","modified_gmt":"2019-02-28T15:59:25","slug":"patentan-biotecnologos-mexicanos-pan-blanco-con-propiedades-anticancerigenas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/ciencia\/patentan-biotecnologos-mexicanos-pan-blanco-con-propiedades-anticancerigenas\/","title":{"rendered":"Patentan biotecn\u00f3logos mexicanos pan blanco con propiedades anticancer\u00edgenas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"has-drop-cap\">Un grupo de cient\u00edficos mexicanos ha logrado obtener la patente de un pan blanco rico en selenio para prevenir enfermedades relacionadas con el estr\u00e9s oxidativo, como algunos tipos de c\u00e1ncer.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Estudios realizados por investigadores del Centro de Biotecnolog\u00eda FEMSA, del Tec de Monterrey, han confirmado que incorporar en la dieta alimentos enriquecidos con selenio representa una buena estrategia para prevenir enfermedades relacionadas con el estr\u00e9s oxidativo, de acuerdo a un comunicado emitido por la casa de estudios.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEl selenio es un mineral que necesitamos los humanos para protegernos del estr\u00e9s oxidativo; sin embargo, es muy dif\u00edcil de cuantificar ya que est\u00e1 en cantidades reducidas en los alimentos\u201d, dijo el doctor Sergio Serna Sald\u00edvar, l\u00edder del proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Para extraerlo y obtenerlo en mayores cantidades, el equipo NutriOmics del Tec de Monterrey trabaja en la fabricaci\u00f3n de mol\u00e9culas de selenio org\u00e1nicas a trav\u00e9s de la germinaci\u00f3n, fermentaci\u00f3n y fertilizaci\u00f3n de cultivos.<\/p>\n<p>En el caso espec\u00edfico de la fermentaci\u00f3n, se dise\u00f1\u00f3 un proceso de biotransformaci\u00f3n de selenio a trav\u00e9s de la fermentaci\u00f3n del trigo.<\/p>\n<p>En esta misma l\u00ednea de investigaci\u00f3n, los trabajos han permitido realizar una serie de pruebas con roedores en las que se confirm\u00f3 que al alimentarlos con prote\u00ednas \u201cselenizadas\u201d reduc\u00eda la incidencia de c\u00e1ncer. La investigaci\u00f3n fue publicada en el Journal of Functional Foods.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEn el laboratorio lograron generar prote\u00ednas selenizadas que contienen amino\u00e1cidos llamados seleniometionina y selenociste\u00edna que cuando consumimos nos protegen contra el c\u00e1ncer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLos brotes de garbanzo selenizados representan una excelente fuente de selenio diet\u00e9tico con potencial quimiopreventivo y podr\u00edan usarse potencialmente en el tratamiento del c\u00e1ncer colorrectal\u201d, destaca el doctor Serna Sald\u00edvar, en cuyo equipo cient\u00edfico colaboran Daniela Guardado, Marilena Antunes, Mar\u00eda Rocha, Ana Carolina Mart\u00ednez y Janet Guti\u00e9rrez.<\/p>\n<p>El grupo NutriOmics del Tec de Monterrey realiza investigaci\u00f3n de vanguardia en nutrigen\u00f3mica para identificar compuestos fitoqu\u00edmicos asociados preferentemente a plantas y alimentos nativos de M\u00e9xico que tengan potencial para prevenir y tratar enfermedades cr\u00f3nico degenerativas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fuente: (Agencia ID)<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Un grupo de cient\u00edficos mexicanos ha logrado obtener la patente de un pan blanco rico en selenio para prevenir enfermedades relacionadas con el estr\u00e9s oxidativo, como algunos tipos de c\u00e1ncer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":14282,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[56],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-14281","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-ciencia"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.7 -
