La innovaci\u00f3n que se desarrolla en el Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n en Ciencia Aplicada y Tecnolog\u00eda Avanzada (CICATA), del Instituto Polit\u00e9cnico Nacional busca inyectar el hidrogel en el tejido \u00f3seo da\u00f1ado, una opci\u00f3n para las personas que sufren fracturas, osteoporosis o alguna degeneraci\u00f3n del hueso y evitar\u00eda cirug\u00edas invasivas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cProponemos que en lugar de recurrir a una cirug\u00eda en la que se coloca una placa, se deposite cierta cantidad del material y formar un andamio que provoque que las c\u00e9lulas del hueso roto comiencen a proliferarse; es decir, producir y tener adhesi\u00f3n, de tal forma que se reconstruya el tejido \u00f3seo de manera natural\u201c, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Valverde Aguilar.<\/p>\n<p>El proceso es posible a partir del m\u00e9todo sol-gel, el cual consiste en sintetizar nanopart\u00edculas de \u00f3xido de titanio y al\u00famina, para obtener hidrogeles que se introducen en una pel\u00edcula, ya sea de agarosa (sustancia que se utiliza en la elaboraci\u00f3n de geles que separan mol\u00e9culas de ADN) o quitosano (c\u00e1scaras de los crust\u00e1ceos), ambos materiales compatibles con el tejido humano.<\/p>\n<p>Los hidrogeles de titanio y al\u00famina han demostrado en pruebas de laboratorio una efectividad de generaci\u00f3n de hueso del 70 por ciento y una adhesi\u00f3n del 80 por ciento. \u201cEste desarrollo a nivel de ciencia b\u00e1sica promete evitar cirug\u00edas invasivas y la posibilidad de inducir que de forma natural el organismo se cure\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de estos dos materiales, la doctora Valverde Aguilar busca nuevas sustancias econ\u00f3micas como el magnesio, hierro, s\u00edlice y fosforo, los cuales son abundantes en la Tierra y compatibles con el hueso.<\/p>\n<p>Mencion\u00f3 que existe la necesidad de continuar con investigaci\u00f3n en ciencia b\u00e1sica para encontrar las mejores sustancias que formen una uni\u00f3n y creen un excelente material que regenere hueso.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Alcanzan prometedor resultado en laboratorio en aras de buscar un material que evite cirug\u00edas y colocaci\u00f3n de placas. &nbsp; Cuando ocurre una fractura los m\u00e9dicos optan por colocar una placa y realizar una cirug\u00eda, ahora investigadores han desarrollado biomateriales llamados hidrogeles que son sustancias blandas y el\u00e1sticas que regeneran el hueso.
