Adem\u00e1s, conforme avanza el tiempo, todos los objetos que vemos a nuestro alrededor se vuelven \u201cinteligentes\u201d, es decir, con los avances tecnol\u00f3gicos pueden realizar funciones de una manera m\u00e1s eficiente, pero para ello requieren de acceso a la red. En el hogar, todos los integrantes de la familia tienen un dispositivo m\u00f3vil y todos se conectan a la red WiFi, ya sea para ver videos, navegar en las redes sociales o hacer cualquier otra cosa; adem\u00e1s se integran objetos como c\u00e1maras, televisiones inteligentes y electrodom\u00e9sticos. Son muchos los dispositivos que se conectan a la red WiFi, que con el est\u00e1ndar actual (WiFi 5) ya no es eficiente, pues entre m\u00e1s objetos conectados haya, la velocidad del Internet disminuye y con ello la calidad de la navegaci\u00f3n. Alberto \u00c1lvarez, gerente de IP Network Huawei Enterprise M\u00e9xico, explic\u00f3 que con el nuevo WiFi 6, el nuevo est\u00e1ndar que se ha liberado este a\u00f1o, va a traer mucho mayor velocidad, pues la experiencia del usuario ser\u00e1 hasta cuatro veces mayor de la actual. Adem\u00e1s, mayor concurrencia, es decir, conexiones simult\u00e1neas, los equipos de infraestructura van a ser capaz de conectar hasta cuatro veces la cantidad de dispositivos que se ten\u00edan hasta ahora; adem\u00e1s, la latencia (retardo) va a a ser menor. As\u00ed, ahora los usuarios que est\u00e9n conectados a una red WiFi 6 podr\u00e1n correr cualquier tipo de aplicaciones, incluso videos 4K u 8K sin preocuparse de que la experiencia se vea afectada, explic\u00f3 el especialista en entrevista con Notimex. \u201cWiFi 6 es m\u00e1s amigable con el ambiente, porque se consigui\u00f3 que los equipos de infraestructura consuman menos energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica, alrededor de un 30 por ciento, lo que tambi\u00e9n significa un ahorro para las empresas que tienen esta tecnolog\u00eda\u201d, apunt\u00f3 \u00c1lvarez. De acuerdo con la Alianza WiFi, este 2019 el protocolo Wi-Fi 6 comenzar\u00e1 a abrirse camino hacia m\u00e1s puntos de acceso y productos de consumo, para aumentar su velocidad y rendimiento, y ofrecer\u00e1 capacidades mejoradas en entornos congestionados.
