Black Mirror<\/i>\u00a0es una\u00a0serie de televisi\u00f3n dist\u00f3pica<\/strong>\u00a0que intenta predecir y retratar c\u00f3mo la tecnolog\u00eda manipular\u00e1 nuestras vidas en el futuro. No s\u00f3lo ha sido un gran \u00e9xito del entretenimiento sino que ha abierto el\u00a0debate sobre la inteligencia artificial (IA), la privacidad y las relaciones humanas<\/strong>; todo lo que estamos empezando a enfrentar.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ahora, esta serie estrenar\u00e1 su quinta temporada con tres cap\u00edtulos en los cuales los\u00a0smartphones<\/i>, las apps\u00a0y la IA ser\u00e1n el tema central.<\/span><\/p>\n

Y es que estos temas se han convertido en una herramienta esencial que est\u00e1 cambiando la manera en la que vivimos. Por ejemplo, un\u00a0estudio\u00a0de la Universidad de Pittsburgh destac\u00f3 c\u00f3mo el uso de las redes sociales est\u00e1 vinculado a\u00a0la\u00a0ansiedad, la soledad y la alienaci\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

La serie realmente no describe ninguna de estas tecnolog\u00edas negativamente. En cambio, muestra c\u00f3mo nosotros\u00a0somos incapaces de manejar esa tecnolog\u00eda<\/strong>\u00a0de una manera favorable.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aunque lo que est\u00e1 detr\u00e1s de todo estos avances tecnol\u00f3gicos, lo que realmente hace que funcionen, son los datos. Concretamente, el\u00a0an\u00e1lisis de datos (Big Data)<\/strong>\u00a0juega un papel crucial en la configuraci\u00f3n de nuestro presente y lo ser\u00e1 todo en el futuro.<\/span><\/p>\n

Por ello, resaltar aquello que\u00a0Black Mirror<\/i>\u00a0nos ha mostrado los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os es esencial para comprender lo que vendr\u00e1.<\/span><\/p>\n

UNA MEJOR MEMORIA<\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n

\u00bfTe has preguntado c\u00f3mo ser\u00eda tener una memoria impecable? La idea de tener una gran memoria se explora en uno de los episodios de la serie (\u00abThe Entire History of You\u00bb). Implica poder grabar y almacenar cada momento de la vida y la libertad de volver a verlo en cualquier momento utilizando un dispositivo llamado grano.<\/span><\/p>\n

Si bien a\u00fan no existe una tecnolog\u00eda que pueda guardar los recuerdos para siempre, los tel\u00e9fonos, las\u00a0apps<\/em>\u00a0y cualquier tipo de nube permiten almacenar tantos recuerdos (datos) como sea posible.<\/span><\/p>\n

Los datos pueden interpretarse utilizando algoritmos para presentar a cada persona, de manera individual, opciones para una vida mejor. Desde publicidad y movilidad hasta otras personas del inter\u00e9s especifico de cada quien.<\/span><\/p>\n

CALIFICACI\u00d3N SOCIAL<\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n

Hoy en d\u00eda, todos tienen el poder de dar su opini\u00f3n sobre cada servicio a trav\u00e9s de las calificaciones en Internet.\u00a0Black Mirror<\/em>\u00a0llev\u00f3 esta idea a un nivel m\u00e1s all\u00e1 al permitir que los personajes vean la calificaci\u00f3n de otras personas a trav\u00e9s de un lente de contacto en el cap\u00edtulo \u00abNosedive\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n

Estas calificaciones se actualizan en tiempo real de acuerdo con las acciones de cada persona.<\/span><\/p>\n

El uso del Big Data para crear clasificaciones sociales ya est\u00e1\u00a0comenzando en China,\u00a0 en donde los ciudadanos tienen puntajes espec\u00edficos que se basan en sus acciones, como saltar una se\u00f1al de tr\u00e1fico o pagar los impuestos a tiempo. Cuanto mejor sea la puntuaci\u00f3n, mejor ser\u00e1 el ciudadano.<\/span><\/p>\n

REALIDAD VIRTUAL Y VIDEOJUEGOS<\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n

La realidad virtual y los videojuegos son una industria donde la personalizaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s del Big Data puede facilitar experiencias m\u00e1s enriquecedoras e inmersivas.<\/span><\/p>\n

En\u00a0Black Mirror<\/em>\u00a0(\u00abPlaytest\u00bb), se desarrolla un juego basado en los recuerdos de la vida del jugador para crear un juego personalizado y altamente realista. El programa de IA proyecta los recuerdos en gr\u00e1ficos del mundo real aterrorizando al jugador hasta provocarle una crisis mental.<\/span><\/p>\n

El Big Data y la IA \u00a0se complementan entre s\u00ed en numerosos campos, y tiene un enorme potencial para revolucionar el entretenimiento en el futuro.<\/span><\/p>\n

Muchas de las principales compa\u00f1\u00edas de videojuegos est\u00e1n apostando a proyectos que se basan en datos recopilados de los jugadores: ritmo card\u00edaco, transpiraci\u00f3n de la piel y movimientos oculares.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

En el episodio \u00abArkangel\u00bb, una madre implanta una c\u00e1mara inteligente en el ojo de su hija. Al hacerlo, no solo es capaz de cuidarla, sino que puede ver lo que ella est\u00e1 mirando y es capaz de bloquear cosas que no quiere que vea.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hoy en d\u00eda, el Big Data combinado con aparatos port\u00e1tiles est\u00e1 revolucionando la forma en que usamos los datos personales. Estos dispositivos almacenan la informaci\u00f3n de nuestro cuerpo, como el ritmo card\u00edaco, la temperatura, las calor\u00edas consumidas y los pasos que damos, a cambio \u2014por ejemplo\u2014, nos proporcionan informaci\u00f3n para llevar una vida saludable.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pero, \u00bfhasta donde llegar\u00e1 esta intromisi\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica en nuestras vidas?<\/span><\/p>\n

Desde un punto de vista moral, esto resulta una\u00a0violaci\u00f3n de la privacidad<\/strong>\u00a0y en varios\u00a0delitos cibern\u00e9ticos<\/strong>. No hace falta decir que la seguridad del Big Data ser\u00e1 esencial en el futuro y depender\u00e1 de nosotros\u00a0poner una alto<\/strong>\u00a0de hasta d\u00f3nde queremos que llegue.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

BLACK MIRROR: UNA PEQUE\u00d1A MUESTRA DE TODO<\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n

A partir de la implementaci\u00f3n de Big Data en las actividades diarias hasta ahora, es relativamente seguro decir que nos dirigimos hacia un mundo en el que\u00a0seremos juzgados constantemente<\/strong>\u00a0por cada una de nuestras acciones. que a su vez se utilizar\u00e1 para determinar si tenemos derecho a ciertas cosas en la vida: respeto, dinero, cr\u00e9dito.<\/span><\/p>\n

Si bien esto puede sonar un poco aterrador, todos los grandes cambios que podr\u00eda traer el Big Data en nuestras vidas en el futuro ya est\u00e1n sucediendo.<\/span><\/p>\n
