Cada vez falta menos para la llegada de la pr\u00f3xima revoluci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica: el\u00a0<\/span>5G<\/b>. Pero como toda tecnolog\u00eda, el 5G tiene sus luces y sus sombras. \u00bfCu\u00e1les son sus ventajas y cu\u00e1les son sus consecuencias m\u00e1s negativas?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Una transformaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica crucial<\/span><\/div>\n
\n

Los tiempos cambian y, como consecuencia, presenciamos numerosos avances tecnol\u00f3gicos. El m\u00e1s inmediato es la tecnolog\u00eda 5G, que llegar\u00e1 este mismo 2019 para mejorar nuestras vidas.<\/p>\n

Podemos definirlo como\u00a0<\/span>la quinta generaci\u00f3n de las tecnolog\u00edas<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>y est\u00e1ndares de comunicaci\u00f3n inal\u00e1mbrica. Es la tecnolog\u00eda que, adem\u00e1s de permitirnos realizar tareas b\u00e1sicas que llevamos haciendo mucho tiempo con nuestros\u00a0<\/span>dispositivos m\u00f3viles\u00a0<\/span>(llamar, enviar mensajes, etc.), trae una importante novedad: posibilitar\u00e1\u00a0<\/span>navegar en Internet a una velocidad much\u00edsimo m\u00e1s alta<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>que la actual.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

El lado negativo del 5G<\/span><\/div>\n

Por desgracia, no todo es positivo. Y es que la implantaci\u00f3n y uso del 5G puede conllevar algunos inconvenientes:<\/p>\n

– En primer lugar, se predice que el uso del 5G\u00a0<\/span>incrementar\u00e1 entre el 5% y el 9% del consumo mundial de electricidad<\/b>. Esto, a su vez, se traduce en un 2% de participaci\u00f3n en la contaminaci\u00f3n mundial.<\/p>\n

– Por otro lado, el 5G\u00a0<\/span>afectar\u00e1 a las previsiones meteorol\u00f3gicas<\/b>. Esto se debe a que las interferencias de los dispositivos que utilicen 5G podr\u00edan afectar a los sat\u00e9lites de la Tierra, lo que har\u00eda que el acierto de las predicciones meteorol\u00f3gicas descienda un 30%.<\/p>\n

– Por \u00faltimo, la extensi\u00f3n del 5G incide en las televisiones, pues podr\u00eda acabar con la televisi\u00f3n tal y como la conocemos. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9? Porque el espectro radioel\u00e9ctrico que actualmente ocupa la TDT tendr\u00eda que quedar libre para el 5G y los usuarios tendr\u00e1n que\u00a0<\/span>resintonizar los televisores\u00a0<\/span><\/b>para ver los contenidos con esta tecnolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n

A ello hay que sumar el\u00a0<\/span>impacto medioambiental\u00a0<\/span><\/b>que supondr\u00e1 la fabricaci\u00f3n de nuevos dispositivos m\u00f3viles adaptados a esta tecnolog\u00eda y que sustituyan a los que queden obsoletos.<\/p>\n

Habr\u00e1 que esperar para ver c\u00f3mo es la llegada del 5G y, sobre todo, cu\u00e1l es la acogida en la poblaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
