{"id":17671,"date":"2019-08-12T09:28:47","date_gmt":"2019-08-12T15:28:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=17671"},"modified":"2019-08-12T09:28:47","modified_gmt":"2019-08-12T15:28:47","slug":"inteligencia-artificial-sera-usada-en-la-automatizacion-de-las-decisiones-medicas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/ia\/inteligencia-artificial-sera-usada-en-la-automatizacion-de-las-decisiones-medicas\/","title":{"rendered":"INTELIGENCIA ARTIFICIAL SER\u00c1 USADA EN LA AUTOMATIZACI\u00d3N DE LAS DECISIONES M\u00c9DICAS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Automatizar una tarea que usualmente se realiza de manera manual, pero que, a medida que el volumen de datos aumenta le a\u00f1ade m\u00e1s complejidad al proceso, es el prop\u00f3sito que inform\u00e1ticos del Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico de Massachussets (MIT) pretenden con la implementaci\u00f3n de la inteligencia artificial en la toma de decisiones m\u00e9dicas.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Con el paso del tiempo, cada vez m\u00e1s se vislumbra un escenario prometedor en el campo de la anal\u00edtica predictiva en el desarrollo de tecnolog\u00edas que ayuden a los m\u00e9dicos en el diagn\u00f3stico y tratamiento de pacientes.<span id=\"more-353015\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Una particularidad que presentan los modelos de aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico, es que pueden ser adiestrados para encontrar patrones en los datos de los pacientes, patrones que permitan establecer un conjunto de medidas en situaciones donde sea requerido elaborar reg\u00edmenes de quimioterapia m\u00e1s seguros, o anticipar el riesgo que pueda tener una paciente de sufrir c\u00e1ncer de mama.<\/p>\n<p>Por lo general, los conjuntos de datos de capacitaci\u00f3n presentan informaci\u00f3n correspondiente a sujetos enfermos y sanos, pero con escasos datos asociados a cada sujeto, lo cual, hace que los m\u00e9dicos deban conformarse con disponer solamente de aquellos aspectos o conjuntos de datos que sean relevantes para establecer las predicciones que necesitan.<\/p>\n<p>Los investigadores del MIT, en un documento presentado en la conferencia Machine Learning for Healthcare, demostraron un modelo que aprende de manera autom\u00e1tica las caracter\u00edsticas que predicen los trastornos de las cuerdas vocales. Estas caracter\u00edsticas son contrastadas de un conjunto de datos pertenecientes a 100 personas, cada una con un volumen de datos recopilado durante una semana, compuesta por monitoreo de voz y varios miles de millones de muestras, las cuales, en conjunto, contienen se\u00f1ales registradas por un peque\u00f1o sensor de aceler\u00f3metro instalado en el cuello de la persona.<\/p>\n<p>Durante la realizaci\u00f3n de los experimentos, el modelo dispuso de caracter\u00edsticas obtenidas de forma autom\u00e1tica de los datos almacenados en el sistema para clasificar aquellos pacientes que presentaban o no lesiones en las cuerdas vocales a nivel de la laringe, las cuales, son causadas por lo general, debido a un mal uso de la voz al realizar acciones como cantar o gritar.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fuente:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Alexander Alvarado, A.
