La frecuencia de las ondas electromagn\u00e9ticas de 5G est\u00e1n comprendidas dentro del rango abarcado por las recomendaciones de ICNIRP, que adopt\u00f3 Uruguay.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden\">\n<div class=\"field-items\">\n<div class=\"field-item even\" property=\"content:encoded\">\n<p>1. Aunque 5G es una tecnolog\u00eda extraordinaria e innovadora, est\u00e1 basada en ondas electromagn\u00e9ticas, igual que las tecnolog\u00edas m\u00f3viles anteriores (3G, 4G, GSM) y los canales de radio y televisi\u00f3n. Por ello, no implica un riesgo para la salud, como tampoco lo implican el resto de las tecnolog\u00edas que nos rodean desde hace d\u00e9cadas.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 Existen est\u00e1ndares internacionales para proteger la salud humana del impacto de los campos electromagn\u00e9ticos, que han sido adoptados por nuestro pa\u00eds. La frecuencia de las ondas electromagn\u00e9ticas de 5G est\u00e1n comprendidas dentro del rango abarcado por las recomendaciones de la Comisi\u00f3n Internacional para la Protecci\u00f3n de la Radiaci\u00f3n No Ionizante (ICNIRP, por su sigla en ingl\u00e9s), encargada de generar el est\u00e1ndar.<\/p>\n<p>3. Las radiobases 5G emiten en el entorno de 10 veces menos potencia que las de la generaci\u00f3n anterior (4G, LTE). Un mayor uso de radiobases 5G no implica un mayor nivel de ondas electromagn\u00e9ticas. De hecho, cada radiobase cubre un \u00e1rea m\u00e1s peque\u00f1a y emite mucho menos potencia que las de las tecnolog\u00edas anteriores.<\/p>\n<p>4. 5G es una tecnolog\u00eda m\u00f3vil m\u00e1s eficiente y amigable con el medio ambiente que las anteriores. Es capaz de direccionar sus comunicaciones al dispositivo con el que el usuario quiere comunicarse en un preciso momento, sin desperdicia potencia en otras direcciones.<\/p>\n<p>5. En el futuro, es posible que en cada hogar se conecten varios dispositivos a la red 5G (Internet de las Cosas). Estos se dise\u00f1an para trabajar con potencia extremadamente baja y tiempos de activaci\u00f3n muy breves, por lo que la cantidad de radiaci\u00f3n electromagn\u00e9tica no tendr\u00e1 cambios significativos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fuente:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>MIEM.
