{"id":1794,"date":"2016-03-01T17:13:40","date_gmt":"2016-03-01T23:13:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=1794"},"modified":"2016-03-01T17:15:40","modified_gmt":"2016-03-01T23:15:40","slug":"crean-por-primera-vez-espermatozoides-en-laboratorio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/ciencia\/crean-por-primera-vez-espermatozoides-en-laboratorio\/","title":{"rendered":"Crean por primera vez espermatozoides en laboratorio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cient\u00edficos chinos han logrado por primera vez crear\u00a0c\u00e9lulas esperm\u00e1ticas de ratones\u00a0en un laboratorio en su totalidad; un avance\u00a0que podr\u00eda representar una esperanza de tratar la infertilidad,\u00a0una condici\u00f3n que afecta al 15-20% de las parejas en edad reproductiva.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>El m\u00e9todo aun se encuentra en su fase inicial, sin embargo se espera que cuando se pueda aplicar en humanos, pueda transforman c\u00e9lulas epid\u00e9rmicas de un hombre en esperma para que pueda transmitir el\u00a0ADN a su descendencia.<\/p>\n<p>Para el experimento los cient\u00edficos comenzaron\u00a0con c\u00e9lulas madre embrionarias de ratones, que se hallan en los embriones y pueden desarrollarse en cualquier tipo de c\u00e9lula en el organismo. En el laboratorio, estas c\u00e9lulas fueron expuestas a sustancias qu\u00edmicas para forzarlas a convertirse en esperma. Aunque investigaciones previas hab\u00edan generado esperma de este modo, deb\u00edan ser\u00a0trasplantados\u00a0despu\u00e9s a los test\u00edculos de los ratones para seguir desarroll\u00e1ndose.<\/p>\n<p>Una de las principales causas de la\u00a0infertilidad masculina\u00a0es la incapacidad de crear c\u00e9lulas germinales en los test\u00edculos, a trav\u00e9s de un tipo de divisi\u00f3n celular, la meiosis, sin la cual no es posible formar esperma viable, explican estos bi\u00f3logos.<a href=\"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/14564030481787-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1798 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/14564030481787-1.jpg\" alt=\"14564030481787-1\" width=\"660\" height=\"470\" srcset=\"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/14564030481787-1.jpg 660w, https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/14564030481787-1-600x427.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 660px) 100vw, 660px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Los expertos refieren que la nueva t\u00e9cnica significa un progreso porque elimina la necesidad de trasplantes. En cambio, los investigadores colocaron los precursores del esperma en un platillo de laboratorio que conten\u00eda c\u00e9lulas testiculares. Aunque los precursores nunca se convirtieron en esperma totalmente maduro, se desarrollaron lo suficientemente como para fertilizar \u00f3vulos. Fueron inyectados en\u00a0379 \u00f3vulos\u00a0y produjeron nueve ratones.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo somos los primeros en transformar c\u00e9lulas madre en otras con caracter\u00edsticas de esperma\u201d, dijo Zhao Xiao Yang, responsable de la investigaci\u00f3n. \u201cPero s\u00ed es la primera vez que todo el proceso se puede realizar\u00a0in vitro, y controlar as\u00ed paso a paso la evoluci\u00f3n de las c\u00e9lulas\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>De esta manera los trabajos brindan una plataforma de investigaci\u00f3n que alg\u00fan d\u00eda podr\u00eda ser utilizada para tratar la\u00a0infertilidad masculina, que representa un tercio de los casos totales de infertilidad, estimaron los cient\u00edficos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cReproducir c\u00e9lulas germinales in vitro sigue siendo el principal objetivo de la biolog\u00eda y de la medicina reproductiva\u201d, dijo Jiahao Sha, de la facultad de medicina de Nankin, co-auto del estudio.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEstablecimos un m\u00e9todo s\u00f3lido, etapa por etapa, que reproduce la formaci\u00f3n de c\u00e9lulas de\u00a0esperma\u00a0viables in vitro. Este m\u00e9todo es totalmente conforme a las normas internacionales de referencia en la materia, recientemente propuestas por un grupo de bi\u00f3logos expertos en
