Es m\u00e1s, cuando se les pregunt\u00f3 por el retorno de inversi\u00f3n que dichos departamentos hab\u00edan obtenido de la digitalizaci\u00f3n y automatizaci\u00f3n en los \u00faltimos 12 meses, s\u00f3lo el 5% dijo que se trataba una cifra sustancial, mientras que la respuesta m\u00e1s com\u00fan fue \u00abmodesto\u00bb o \u00abm\u00ednimo\u00bb.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Aunque en este momento ese n\u00famero puede parecer bajo,<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>la automatizaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 llegando al \u00e1rea de finanzas y ser\u00e1 clave<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>en la promoci\u00f3n del papel del CFO dentro de la C-suite. Las investigaciones revelan que los equipos de finanzas corporativos dedican<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>alrededor del 80% de su tiempo a recopilar, verificar y consolidar datos manualmente<\/strong>, dejando s\u00f3lo alrededor del 20% para tareas de nivel superior, como el an\u00e1lisis y la toma de decisiones.<\/p>\n<p>La Automatizaci\u00f3n Rob\u00f3tica de Procesos (RPA) traer\u00e1 consigo una nueva ola de transformaci\u00f3n digital en las finanzas corporativas. En lugar de programar software para realizar ciertas tareas autom\u00e1ticamente, la RPA utiliza robots de software para procesar transacciones, monitorizar el cumplimiento y auditar procesos autom\u00e1ticamente. Esto podr\u00eda reducir dr\u00e1sticamente el n\u00famero de tareas manuales,<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>ayudando a eliminar errores y a aumentar la eficiencia de los procesos financieros<\/strong>, haciendo m\u00e1s estrat\u00e9gica la funci\u00f3n del CFO.<\/p>\n<h4>Qu\u00e9 significa la automatizaci\u00f3n para las finanzas en el d\u00eda a d\u00eda<\/h4>\n<p>Seg\u00fan el informe de ServiceNow \u00abLas empresas que utilizan la inteligencia artificial a\u00f1adir\u00e1n m\u00e1s puestos de trabajo de los que reducen\u00bb, comparando a las empresas que hab\u00edan automatizado al menos el 70% de sus procesos de negocio con las que lo hab\u00edan hecho en menos del 30%,<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>descubrieron que m\u00e1s automatizaci\u00f3n se traduc\u00eda en m\u00e1s ingresos<\/strong>. De hecho, el grupo de mayor automatizaci\u00f3n presentaba seis veces m\u00e1s probabilidades de tener un crecimiento de los ingresos de al menos un 15 por ciento anual.<\/p>\n<p>La automatizaci\u00f3n y el aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico pueden ser una combinaci\u00f3n fant\u00e1stica para que los directores financieros transformen la funci\u00f3n de finanzas, pero su \u00e9xito depender\u00e1 de la automatizaci\u00f3n de las tareas correctas. El primer objetivo de un equipo financiero debe ser<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>automatizar las tareas repetitivas y transaccionales que consumen la mayor parte de su tiempo<\/strong>, ya que al liberarse de ellas podr\u00e1 asumir un papel m\u00e1s estrat\u00e9gico para el negocio. Una encuesta de<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adaptiveinsights.com\/sites\/default\/files\/assets\/Adaptive-Insights-CFO-Indicator-full-steam-ahead-automation.pdf\">Adaptive Insights<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>revel\u00f3 que m\u00e1s del 40% de los l\u00edderes financieros cree que el mayor impulsor de la automatizaci\u00f3n en sus organizaciones es la demanda de<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>insights<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span>con mayor rapidez y de mayor calidad por parte de los ejecutivos y \u00a0<em>stakeholders<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span>operacionales.<\/p>\n<p>Creo que no se puede negar que la tecnolog\u00eda est\u00e1 cambiando el panorama laboral. Las empresas lo est\u00e1n asimilando y est\u00e1n invirtiendo en ella para ofrecer mejores respuestas ante las necesidades de sus clientes. El \u00e1rea de finanzas no es una excepci\u00f3n a este hecho y todos los l\u00edderes de este sector \u2013 e incluso quienes nos movemos por \u00e9l, de una forma u otra \u2013 lo tienen en mente para continuar con el crecimiento del negocio.
