n el advenimiento una nueva ola tecnol\u00f3gica, la\u00a0inteligencia artificial\u00a0se prepara para llegar a nuevas industrias, con un gran potencial para revolucionar los negocios y las organizaciones.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cyxtera Technologies, compa\u00f1\u00eda de infraestructura segura, explica lo que se puede esperar de esta tecnolog\u00eda para el futuro y c\u00f3mo puede ser aprovechada tanto por atacantes como equipos de seguridad.<\/span><\/p>\n

1- Machine learning contradictorio<\/strong>: Es una t\u00e9cnica en la que los algoritmos reciben informaci\u00f3n malintencionada con el fin de que cometan errores de an\u00e1lisis. Los criminales que buscan explotar algoritmos ya cuentan con la capacidad de usar esta t\u00e9cnica, por lo que se espera que incremento su uso.<\/p>\n

“Los estafadores pueden inyectar ruido casi imperceptible, ya sea de forma electr\u00f3nica o por medio de adhesivos f\u00edsicos o elementos impresos, en las im\u00e1genes usadas para el reconocimiento facial, causando un mal comportamiento del algoritmo.\u00a0Estos criminales pueden luego convencer al algoritmo de clasificar incorrectamente sus rostros, permiti\u00e9ndoles suplantar con \u00e9xito a un usuario y hackear su cuenta”, explica Michael L\u00f3pez, vicepresidente y gerente general de Total Fraud Protection de Cyxtera.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

2<\/strong>–\u00a0<\/span>ML para preservar la privacidad<\/strong>: La autenticaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de reconocimiento facial es considerada como una de las formas m\u00e1s seguras de iniciar sesi\u00f3n, sin embargo, ciertos datos de gran valor para los criminales, como las im\u00e1genes de los rostros de los usuarios, son com\u00fanmente almacenadas sin cifrar en la nube y son vulnerables ante brechas de datos y dem\u00e1s ataques.<\/p>\n

“Los actuales algoritmos de ML funcionan mejor con datos sin procesar o informaci\u00f3n no an\u00f3nima sobre cada usuario.\u00a0Esto quiere decir que los datos almacenados son vulnerables ante atacantes que desean obtener informaci\u00f3n sensible sobre los rostros de los usuarios. Se especula que los futuros algoritmos ser\u00e1n capaces de funcionar con datos an\u00f3nimos o cifrados, brindando protecci\u00f3n fuerte mientras soportan soluciones de\u00a0machine learning<\/a>\u00a0de alto rendimiento”, agrega el ejecutivo.<\/span><\/p>\n

3- Plataformas de machine learning de extremo a extremo<\/strong>:\u00a0<\/span>machine learning\u00a0<\/span>de extremo a extremo les permite a los desarrolladores y data scientists conectarse y trabajar de forma transparente y conjunta a lo largo de las etapas de preparaci\u00f3n de datos, selecci\u00f3n de algoritmos, desarrollo de modelos, ajuste de implementaci\u00f3n y optimizaci\u00f3n, y lanzamiento.<\/p>\n

Esto resulta en un desarrollo m\u00e1s \u00e1gil de nuevos algoritmos, lo cual, en t\u00e9rminos de seguridad se traduce en respuestas m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidas y precisas ante nuevos ataques de phishing, malware y otros.<\/span><\/p>\n

4- Aprendizaje activo:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Los algoritmos de aprendizaje activo usan\u00a0machine learning\u00a0para etiquetar datos autom\u00e1ticamente durante el proceso de entrenamiento del algoritmo, dejando solo una peque\u00f1a porci\u00f3n del trabajo a un anotador humano.<\/span><\/p>\n

Esto ahorra enormes cantidades de tiempo valioso y dinero a los equipos que a menudo trabajan con gigantescas cantidades de datos.<\/p>\n

“Por ahora, los algoritmos de aprendizaje activo han sido usados principalmente con fines acad\u00e9micos e investigativos, pero podemos que la industria antifraude comenzar\u00e1 r\u00e1pidamente a usar esta tecnolog\u00eda y actualmente est\u00e1 desarrollando algoritmos con aplicaciones de seguridad”, agrega L\u00f3pez .<\/span><\/p>\n

5- Aprendizaje de pocos intentos<\/strong>: El aprendizaje de pocos intentos es una forma de adaptar ciertos algoritmos, como redes neurales, con el fin de mejorar su rendimiento al momento de clasificar poblaciones de las cuales hay pocos datos.<\/p>\n

El uso de este aprendizaje se limita por ahora a aplicaciones de investigaci\u00f3n, pero los expertos de Cyxtera anticipan que en el futuro los algoritmos usados en la industria antifraude ser\u00e1n capaces de entrenarse con peque\u00f1as porciones de datos.<\/span><\/p>\n
