El evento que tendr\u00e1 lugar en su sede de Cupertino, California, Apple probablemente presuma tres nuevos iPhones de alta gama: el iPhone 11 Pro, el iPhone 11 Pro Max y el iPhone 11, que reemplazar\u00e1n a los modelos XS, XS Max y XR, de acuerdo con los reportes. Tambi\u00e9n podr\u00eda introducir un modelo mucho m\u00e1s accesible con un precio inicial de 450 d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n

Los dispositivos, que seg\u00fan se dice son casi id\u00e9nticos a los presentados el a\u00f1o pasado, podr\u00edan contar con un nuevo sistema de c\u00e1mara con tres c\u00e1maras posteriores, incluyendo una para capturar tomas de gran \u00e1ngulo, as\u00ed como software de inteligencia artificial integrado para mejorar la edici\u00f3n de fotos y videos. El nombre Pro tambi\u00e9n implica que los dispositivos est\u00e1n enfocados a los usuarios de negocio y creativos.<\/p>\n

En un momento en que algunos de sus competidores est\u00e1n lanzando conceptos innovadores, pero arriesgados, como el smartphone plegable de Samsung y sus dos dispositivos 5G, se espera que Apple siga con su curso. Eso, tambi\u00e9n, podr\u00eda resultar arriesgado. El negocio de iPhone, el mayor generador de ingresos de Apple, ha tenido un desempe\u00f1o poco sorprendente \u00faltimamente. “Apple tiende a desempe\u00f1arse bien cuando cambia el dise\u00f1o del iPhone de manera dr\u00e1stica\u201d, dijo el analista David McQueen de ABI Research, haciendo referencia a la transici\u00f3n. “Sin embargo, no puede hacerlo cada a\u00f1o\u201d.<\/p>\n

Este a\u00f1o promete estar lleno de m\u00e1s actualizaciones: un procesador m\u00e1s veloz, mejor reconocimiento de rostros y Facetime, la eliminaci\u00f3n del 3D touch y la nueva c\u00e1mara. Tambi\u00e9n se espera que Apple retrase el lanzamiento de un tel\u00e9fono 5G este a\u00f1o, una decisi\u00f3n que podr\u00eda darles ventaja a sus principales rivales, en especial a Samsung. Seg\u00fan reportes, la transici\u00f3n de Apple de los componentes Qualcomm a los de Intel en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os hizo que se retrasara el desarrollo de m\u00f3dems 5G para la l\u00ednea de este a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n

Incluso sin estas caracter\u00edsticas, la empresa podr\u00eda hacer suficiente para mantenerse. \u201cApple est\u00e1 haciendo lo que Apple necesita hacer al demostrar estos nuevos dispositivos, aplicaciones y caracter\u00edsticas para mantener a la gente dentro del ecosistema de Apple y no perderlos frente a Android\u201d, dijo Ram\u00f3n Llamas, director de investigaci\u00f3n en la investigadora de mercado IDC.<\/p>\n

Los iPhones no ser\u00e1n los \u00fanicos productos presentados el martes, el Apple Watch, el primer producto en ser lanzado bajo el mandato del CEO Tim Cook, tambi\u00e9n recibir\u00e1 una actualizaci\u00f3n. El producto ha dado grandes pasos desde su lanzamiento en 2015: ahora ofrece conectividad celular y tiene una posici\u00f3n establecida dentro del mercado de los wearables.<\/p>\n

Apple tambi\u00e9n podr\u00eda integrar funciones de inteligencia artificial, monitoreo de sue\u00f1o integrado y ofrecer cambios de materiales en el reloj inteligente, pero esos cambios probablemente s\u00f3lo atraigan a quienes no cuentan con uno, y no llevar\u00e1n a la actualizaci\u00f3n del dispositivo en el futuro.<\/p>\n

“Apple Watch ha tenido una historia notable, en parte por haber tenido un inicio lento\u201d, dijo Ben Stanton, analista senior de Canalys. \u201cLas ventas son pr\u00f3speras ahora, y una gran proporci\u00f3n de los clientes est\u00e1n adquiriendo su primer Apple Watch”.<\/p>\n

La f\u00e1brica de rumores tambi\u00e9n sugiere actualizaciones para MacBooks, iPads y Apple TV, pero el evento principal de la empresa en septiembre tiende a enfocarse en los iPhones por \u201ctemor a diluir el mensaje de alguno de ellos\u201d, dijo Stanton.<\/p>\n
