{"id":18294,"date":"2019-09-10T09:48:29","date_gmt":"2019-09-10T15:48:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=18294"},"modified":"2019-09-10T09:48:29","modified_gmt":"2019-09-10T15:48:29","slug":"gran-hermano-este-es-el-lado-oscuro-del-machine-learning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/machine-learning\/gran-hermano-este-es-el-lado-oscuro-del-machine-learning\/","title":{"rendered":"Gran hermano: este es el &#8220;lado oscuro&#8221; del machine learning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span>Seg\u00fan la International Data Corporation (IDC) en 2022,\u00a0m\u00e1s del 20% de las alertas de seguridad ser\u00e1n administradas por automatizaci\u00f3n basada en\u00a0inteligencia artificial.<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span>Pedro Guti\u00e9rrez, especialista en Oracle de anal\u00edtica, aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico y datos asegura que en el sector p\u00fablico, la cuesti\u00f3n de\u00a0machine learning\u00a0es muy importante, pues se pueden implementar en temas de salud como detecci\u00f3n de c\u00e1ncer de mama, combate contra el crimen y videovigilancia, seg\u00fan revel\u00f3 en una entrevista al sitio Expansi\u00f3n.mx<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Con el\u00a0machine learning\u00a0se puede crear un mapeo criminal predictivo, y como ejemplo hay algunos pa\u00edses europeos como Reino Unido e Italia que est\u00e1n aplicando este tipo de mecanismos para ver las regiones m\u00e1s conflictivas: &#8220;Aqu\u00ed lo que hacen es con base en los datos hist\u00f3ricos de los delitos que se han anunciado es poder predecir en qu\u00e9 tiempo y lugar se va a suscitar un robo o asalto&#8221;, explic\u00f3 Guti\u00e9rrez<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>A trav\u00e9s del reconocimiento facial y machine learning se podr\u00edan detectar criminales, filtraciones de terroristas, y conectar con efectivos de\u00a0seguridad\u00a0si pasa un autom\u00f3vil sospechoso.\u00a0<\/span><span>Tal es el caso de China donde este tipo de tecnolog\u00edas ya son cosa de todos los d\u00edas, pues el centro que lleva toda la\u00a0seguridad\u00a0en el pa\u00eds cuenta con estas implementaciones y\u00a0solo deben pasar siete minutos para detectar a la persona sospechosa y capturarla.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>La Administraci\u00f3n del Ciberespacio de China (CAC), asegura que esta medida es para tratar de salvaguardar la soberan\u00eda en el ciberespacio, la\u00a0seguridad\u00a0nacional y el inter\u00e9s p\u00fablico, as\u00ed como los derechos y los intereses de los ciudadanos chinos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>El gobierno chino cre\u00f3 un plan de reconocimiento facial para identificar a la gente en menos con un 90% de acierto ya que cuentan con una gran base de datos de 90 terabytes que incluye la informaci\u00f3n personal de cada ciudadano.\u00a0Estos datos se cruzan con un entramado de c\u00e1maras de vigilancia distribuidas por las principales ciudades del pa\u00eds que conecta con la base de datos y ofrece, casi al momento, la identidad de cada uno que pasa ante la lente.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Asimismo, hace unas semanas en\u00a0Hong Kong\u00a0se registraron movilizaciones debido a que su sistema de vigilancia puede identificar cualquier persona. Los manifestantes del movimiento #612strike usaron l\u00e1seres enfoc\u00e1ndolos contra los agentes, tratando as\u00ed de salvaguardar su identidad, pues cubrirse la cara no basta para mantener tu identidad resguardada.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>San Francisco se convirti\u00f3 en la primera ciudad de los\u00a0Estados Unidos\u00a0en prohibir el uso del reconocimiento facial para su videovigilancia, pues no permite a las agencias locales\u00a0utilizar t\u00e9cnicas de reconocimiento facial para identificar a criminales en lugares p\u00fablicos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Pedro Guti\u00e9rrez explica que con esta tecnolog\u00eda se puede mapear en anal\u00edticos y tableros de control para identificar las zonas m\u00e1s conflictivas de una ciudad, donde pueden delimitar por zonas la ciudad.\u00a0<\/span><span>&#8220;Lo que nosotros tratamos de hacer es un cambio, ya existe la tecnolog\u00eda para jugar con esto, el problema que hay es el tema social, pues a la gente no le gusta mucho el cambio hay que evangelizar&#8221;, puntualiz\u00f3 Guti\u00e9rrez.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fuente:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>IProfesional.
