Apple, Starbucks o Inditex nos han demostrado que entender el comportamiento del consumidor, y adaptar la organizaci\u00f3n a \u00e9l, es m\u00e1s rentable en el largo plazo.<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Y es precisamente en ese cambio de paradigma donde el valor de los datos toma un rol predominante en el marketing actual.<\/p>\n<p>Hace s\u00f3lo una d\u00e9cada, la principal fuente de informaci\u00f3n sobre el comportamiento del consumidor era la declarada, es decir, aquella que el cliente nos dec\u00eda a trav\u00e9s de encuestas,<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>focus<\/em>, paneles, etc. \u2026 Sin embargo, hoy disponemos de fuentes de datos que contienen informaci\u00f3n \u201chonesta\u201d sobre el comportamiento \u201creal\u201d de los consumidores.<\/p>\n<p>Ahora, podemos entender lo que piensan\/hacen con mucho m\u00e1s detalle y complementar el comportamiento declarado, con el comportamiento medido y el comportamiento social del cliente.<\/p>\n<p>Entre m\u00e1s fuentes de datos est\u00e9n a nuestra disposici\u00f3n, implica un mejor entendimiento del comportamiento de nuestro consumidor, y con ello, una mejor y m\u00e1s \u00e1gil toma de decisiones en los diferentes \u00e1mbitos de la empresa, desde la generaci\u00f3n de producto hasta la microsegmentaci\u00f3n de campa\u00f1as de publicidad.<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, es la gesti\u00f3n y explotaci\u00f3n puntual de estos datos lo que est\u00e1 poniendo de manifiesto las dificultades asociadas al fen\u00f3meno del Big Data, como el que los datos no se encuentran en los mismos repositorios, dependan de distintas plataformas de software, informaci\u00f3n no actualizada o que no se relacionen entre s\u00ed y dificulte crear un \u201c<em>golden record<\/em>\u201d omnicanal del cliente.<\/p>\n<p>Si te has sentido identificado con alguno de los casos anteriores es posible que tu organizaci\u00f3n est\u00e9 a\u00fan acumulando datos en forma de \u201c<em>data lake<\/em>\u201d, es decir, un repositorio de datos estructurados y no estructurados, sin ning\u00fan preprocesamiento, guardando los datos en bruto, y sin esquema.<\/p>\n<p>Esta falta de estructura hace que<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com.mx\/big-data-union-perfecta-de-numeros-e-inventiva\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">a\u00f1adir nuevos datos<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>a un<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>data lake<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span>sea relativamente sencillo. Sin embargo, no va a permitirnos explotar la informaci\u00f3n del comportamiento del consumidor. Necesitamos convertir ese<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>data lake<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span>en un<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>data hub<\/em>, es decir, una colecci\u00f3n de datos homogeneizados, estructurados y estandarizados para su explotaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de distintos modelos de anal\u00edtica de datos descriptiva, predictiva y prescriptiva del comportamiento del consumidor.<\/p>\n<p>Una vez que tenemos nuestro<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>data hub<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span>podr\u00edamos formular distintas hip\u00f3tesis de negocio y preguntar a los datos qu\u00e9 sucedi\u00f3 (anal\u00edtica descriptiva), qu\u00e9 podr\u00eda pasar (anal\u00edtica predictiva) e incluso qu\u00e9 deber\u00edamos hacer (anal\u00edtica prescriptiva).<\/p>\n<p>Entender las tres dimensiones del comportamiento del consumidor (declarado, medido y social), convertirlos en un<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>data hub<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span>y finalmente explotarlos para explicar lo que pas\u00f3, lo que pasar\u00e1 o lo que deber\u00edamos hacer, es sin duda un proceso complejo y lleno de obst\u00e1culos visibles e invisibles.<\/p>\n<p>Por suerte existen varias metodolog\u00edas probadas que nos ayudan a transitar por este camino evitando obst\u00e1culos y encontrando la mejor hoja de ruta en cada caso. Si bien, m\u00e1s de un tercio de las organizaciones utilizan metodolog\u00edas propias, existen varios est\u00e1ndares que se pueden seguir en la implementaci\u00f3n de un proyecto de<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>data analytics<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span>sobre el comportamiento del consumidor, entre los que destacan: KDD (Knowledge Discovery in Databases), SEMMA (Sample, Explore, Modify, Model, and Assess) y CRISP-DM (Cross Industry Standard Process for Data Mining).<\/p>\n<p>Por todo lo anterior, te dejo 4 puntos clave que debes considerar antes de iniciar la aventura de entender el comportamiento del consumidor:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Disponer de informaci\u00f3n del comportamiento declarado, medido y social.<\/li>\n<li>Contar con un diagn\u00f3stico y<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>timing<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span>para convertir tu<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>data lake<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span>en<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>data hub<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Seleccionar la metodolog\u00eda o<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>mix<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span>de metodolog\u00edas adecuadas en tu caso.<\/li>\n<li>Contar con el<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>expertise<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span>de anal\u00edtica de datos dentro o contratarlo fuera.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Ahora que ya sabes c\u00f3mo sacar provecho de los datos \u00bfest\u00e1s listo para emplearlo en tus estrategias de marketing?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fuente:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Forbes.
