Todos los d\u00edas escuchamos hablar acerca de la\u00a0tecnolog\u00eda Blockchain<\/a>\u00a0y los cambios que est\u00e1 generando en la sociedad. Sin embargo, cuando pensamos en estas transformaciones normalmente las reducimos al \u00e1rea financiera, a las criptomonedas y los smart contracts. Por eso hoy en CriptoTendencia te contamos sobre una propuesta que en materia de educaci\u00f3n quiere integrar la Blockchain a las Universidades.<\/span><\/p>\n

La crisis de la educaci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Los cient\u00edficos sociales suelen utilizar la palabra \u00abcrisis\u00bb de una forma bastante alegra. Crisis de la modernidad, de la democracia, del capitalismo, del socialismo, de la cultura, de la contra-cultura, la sociedad vive en crisis permanente.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sin embargo, si hay una coyuntura que merece ser calificada de crisis en nuestros tiempos modernos (adem\u00e1s de la clim\u00e1tica), sin duda es la educativa. Y sobre todo nos referimos a los cambios que est\u00e1n operando en el paradigma educativo a nivel mundial.<\/span><\/p>\n

Y es que, la Cuarta Revoluci\u00f3n Industrial, y las transformaciones que genera, requieren de un tipo distinto de educaci\u00f3n. La memorizaci\u00f3n de datos y los oficios mec\u00e1nicos quedan relegados a un segundo plano frente a habilidad creativas y digitales.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hoy en d\u00eda, es mucho m\u00e1s rentable educar a nuestra juventud en programaci\u00f3n inform\u00e1tica y pensamiento creativo. Y\u00a0re-educar<\/a>\u00a0a nuestros adultos en estas nuevas disciplinas tambi\u00e9n es una prioridad, considerando la cantidad de empleos que se perder\u00e1n durante esta revoluci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n

As\u00ed, nuevos oficios surgir\u00e1n, mientras son automatizados otros procesos, especialmente los m\u00e1s repetitivos y deshumanizantes. Y es en estos nuevos trabajos hacia donde debe apuntar la educaci\u00f3n y re-educaci\u00f3n de la poblaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n

Una nueva Universidad<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Ante este panorama de cambios acelerados, \u00bfQu\u00e9 funci\u00f3n puede jugar una\u00a0instituci\u00f3n medieval<\/a>\u00a0como las Universidades? Tradicionalmente las Universidades han cumplido tres funciones fundamentales (m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la cl\u00e1sica triada docencia-investigaci\u00f3n-extensi\u00f3n).<\/span><\/p>\n

En primer lugar, han servido como validadoras de conocimiento, otorgando un certificado que indica al empleador que has pasada con \u00e9xito ciertos cursos. En segundo lugar, como semillero de la \u00e9lite pol\u00edtica e intelectual de nuestras sociedades. Y finalmente como centros de generaci\u00f3n de relatos culturales.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hoy en d\u00eda, cuando el conocimiento est\u00e1 al alcance de un click para cualquier con acceso a Internet, es necesario replantearse estas funciones. Especialmente cuando el ingreso a la educaci\u00f3n superior ha generado problemas tan grandes como la gigantesca deuda educativa.<\/span><\/p>\n

Educaci\u00f3n con Blockchain<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Aqu\u00ed es donde entra\u00a0la propuesta educativa<\/a>\u00a0de Mauricio S\u00e1nchez Lemus. Para S\u00e1nchez, el pago de la educaci\u00f3n universitaria no puede continuar con la din\u00e1mica crediticia que tiene hasta ahora. Por el contrario, debe pasar a un sistema basado en la visi\u00f3n de la Universidad como una inversi\u00f3n en capital.<\/span><\/p>\n

As\u00ed, propone que la carrera de los estudiantes sea financiada por inversionistas privados, siguiendo las ideas de te\u00f3ricos liberales. A cambio de esta inversi\u00f3n, se recibir\u00eda un porcentaje de todas las ganancias que generase el estudiantes una vez graduado.<\/span><\/p>\n

Esto incentivar\u00eda a una relaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s cercana entre inversionista y alumno, que permitir\u00eda que el primero ayudase en el desarrollo profesional del estudiante. Todo esto con reglas claras tales como la imposibilidad de obligar a ninguna acci\u00f3n que no quiera realizar al universitario. As\u00ed como un l\u00edmite monetario en los pagos que este har\u00eda.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sin embargo, lo m\u00e1s interesante en la propuesta en educaci\u00f3n de S\u00e1nchez es su segunda parte. Se trata de la tokenizaci\u00f3n del valor del tiempo del estudiante universitario. Es decir, la creaci\u00f3n por Blockchain de un sistema mediante el cual los inversionistas y futuros empleadores vean el desempe\u00f1o del alumno e inviertan en \u00e9l.<\/span><\/p>\n

De esta forma, Universidades, organizaciones, empresas y gobiernos podr\u00edan invertir en los estudiantes con la adquisici\u00f3n de tokens, y de esa forma adquirir el trabajo de los universitarios de forma transparente a trav\u00e9s de la Blockchain.<\/span><\/p>\n

El futuro es ahora<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Para muchos propuestas de este estilo pueden parecer dist\u00f3picas y deshumanizantes. Mientras que para otros ser\u00edan muestra de genialidad y buen uso de las nuevas tecnolog\u00edas en un sector relativamente atrasado.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sin embargo, lo importante es que exista un debate en torno a estos temas. Porque lo cierto es que, aunque la propuesta de S\u00e1nchez para el sector educativo nunca se materialicen, es necesario un cambio. Y este cambio, debe estar consciente de y aprovechar las innovaciones tecnol\u00f3gicas de nuestra era.<\/span><\/p>\n
