Apenas hace unos a\u00f1os la poblaci\u00f3n se comunicaba a distancia por medio del<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>correo ordinario y las llamadas desde tel\u00e9fonos fijos<\/strong>. A principios de 90 la poblaci\u00f3n so\u00f1aba con poseer uno de esos tel\u00e9fonos m\u00f3viles con los que\u00a0los grandes ejecutivos hablaban desde sus caros deportivos en las pel\u00edculas de Hollywood.<!--more--><span class=\"bajo_parrafo\"><\/span>Con la entrada del siglo XXI, el uso del<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>tel\u00e9fono m\u00f3vil se propag\u00f3 en Espa\u00f1a<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>y desde entonces la evoluci\u00f3n de los terminales no ha echado el freno. Las continuas innovaciones hicieron que al cabo de unos a\u00f1os desaparecieran pr\u00e1cticamente la totalidad de las teclas de los m\u00f3viles, para dar entrada a los<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>&#8216;smartphones&#8217;<\/strong>, tal y como hoy los conocemos. Pero, aunque las apariencias puedan guardar similitudes la capacidad de los terminales actuales poco o nada tienen que ver con los de hace una d\u00e9cada.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"bajo_parrafo\"><\/span>Sin embargo, los avances no tienen fin y lo que hoy nos parece tecnolog\u00eda punta pronto lo veremos como una antigualla. Lo \u00faltimo en llegar al mercado viene de la mano de la compa\u00f1\u00eda UltraSense Systems, que ha desarrollado un sensor que permite sustituir los botones f\u00edsicos en dispositivos electr\u00f3nicos como los &#8216;smartphones&#8217; a trav\u00e9s de una<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>interfaz tridimensional de ultrasonido<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"bajo_parrafo\"><\/span>El chip llamado Ultra Sense Touch, con un tama\u00f1o equivalente a la punta de un bol\u00edgrafo,<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>es capaz de convertir en una interfaz t\u00e1ctil pr\u00e1cticamente cualquier material<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>independientemente de su grosor: metal, cristal, madera, cer\u00e1mica o pl\u00e1stico.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"bajo_parrafo\"><\/span>El nuevo sensor es capaz de detectar pulsaciones simples, dobles y mantener pulsado, pero tambi\u00e9n varias pulsaciones al mismo tiempo y arrastrar. Entre sus especificaciones, destaca tambi\u00e9n que funciona a trav\u00e9s de polvo, lociones y aceites naturales, es<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>capaz de identificar los materiales con los que se toca<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>(dedos, guantes, tela&#8230;) y repele el agua.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00bfPara qu\u00e9 se podr\u00e1 utilizar?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span itemprop=\"articleBody\">La tecnolog\u00eda cuenta con varias aplicaciones entre las que destaca especialmente la eliminaci\u00f3n de los botones f\u00edsicos en &#8216;smartphones&#8217;, permitiendo por ejemplo<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>activar la c\u00e1mara selfi desde la parte de atr\u00e1s del dispositivo<\/strong>. Tambi\u00e9n puede funcionar como bot\u00f3n capacitivo en el lateral del m\u00f3vil para gaming. Seg\u00fan estimaciones del propio fabricante, UltraSense Touch comenzar\u00e1 a llegar a los primeros tel\u00e9fonos m\u00f3viles durante 2020.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aplicaciones futuras<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span itemprop=\"articleBody\">Esta nueva tecnolog\u00eda, que ahora parece destinada a los &#8216;smartphones&#8217;,<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>pronto dar\u00e1 el salto a otros instrumentos<\/strong>.
