Resalta que investigadores del Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico de Massachusetts (MIT, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) lograron crear c\u00e9lulas solares tan delgadas, flexibles y ligeras como una burbuja de jab\u00f3n, un proyecto que podr\u00eda tener importantes repercusiones en los aparatos electr\u00f3nicos.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/59fbb-02.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1960 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/59fbb-02.jpg\" alt=\"59fbb-02\" width=\"644\" height=\"362\" srcset=\"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/59fbb-02.jpg 644w, https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/59fbb-02-600x337.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 644px) 100vw, 644px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ultrafinas y flexibles, podr\u00edan encontrar usos ilimitados al poder ser incorporadas en cualquier superficie, como una prenda de ropa o un tel\u00e9fono m\u00f3vil inteligente o, incluso, en una hoja de papel. Se trata, pues, de los paneles solares m\u00e1s finos conocidos hasta la fecha, seg\u00fan relatan los investigadores en un comunicado.<\/p>\n<p>Los cient\u00edficos se muestran cautelosos, ya que su desarrollo a gran escala para convertirse en un producto con recorrido comercial \u201ca\u00fan puede durar a\u00f1os\u201d. Sin embargo, s\u00ed se muestran optimistas al considerar que supone un nuevo enfoque para impulsar una nueva generaci\u00f3n de dispositivos electr\u00f3nicos port\u00e1tiles.<\/p>\n<p>Para lograrlo, los cient\u00edficos se han basado en una \u00fanica premisa, reducir la fabricaci\u00f3n en un solo proceso. La clave -aseguran- es la producci\u00f3n de un panel solar, a\u00f1adir el sustrato que los soporta y recubrirlo con un protector espec\u00edfico para evitar los estragos causados por el medio ambiente. Ese sustrato, a su vez, no requiere de mantenimiento ni manipulaci\u00f3n durante la fabricaci\u00f3n, con lo que se reduce a la m\u00ednima expresi\u00f3n los problemas derivados de su exposici\u00f3n permanente a polvo u otros agentes contaminantes que pueden degradar su rendimiento.<\/p>\n<p>Durante las pruebas, los investigadores utilizaron un pol\u00edmero flexible com\u00fan denominado parileno, un material empleado en dispositivos biom\u00e9dicos como revestimiento para evitar los da\u00f1os del medio ambiente (como la excesiva humedad del entorno) y un material org\u00e1nico llamado PAD para la confecci\u00f3n de la capa de absorci\u00f3n de luz primaria.<\/p>\n<p>El proceso, a diferencia de las c\u00e9lulas solares convencionales, se llev\u00f3 a cabo en una c\u00e1mara de vac\u00edo a temperatura ambiente y si la necesidad de aplicar ning\u00fan tipo de disolvente. Para demostrar la delgadez y ligereza de los paneles creados, los investigadores colocaron uno de ellos en una burbuja de jab\u00f3n, aunque reconocen que pueden ser demasiados delgados para ser
