{"id":2038,"date":"2016-03-28T13:18:44","date_gmt":"2016-03-28T19:18:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=2038"},"modified":"2016-03-28T13:18:44","modified_gmt":"2016-03-28T19:18:44","slug":"hidrico-dia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/tech\/hidrico-dia\/","title":{"rendered":"El proyecto solar-h\u00eddrico que busca dar a Chile energ\u00eda 24 horas al d\u00eda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>La compa\u00f1\u00eda Valhalla Energ\u00eda pretende desarrollar un proyecto en el desierto de Atacama que combinar\u00eda el poder solar con el h\u00eddrico que d\u00e9 suministro de energ\u00eda en todo momento.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Valhalla Energ\u00eda busca socios para construir un proyecto\u00a0solar\u00a0de 600 megavatios en Chile que incorporar\u00e1\u00a0energ\u00eda h\u00eddrica\u00a0a los efectos de brindar suministro las 24 horas.<\/p>\n<p>La compa\u00f1\u00eda mantiene conversaciones con inversores para reunir un 40 por ciento de los alrededor de mil 300 millones de d\u00f3lares necesarios para el proyecto, 900 millones para el componente\u00a0solar\u00a0y 400 millones para un sistema de\u00a0energ\u00eda h\u00eddrica\u00a0de 300 megavatios, seg\u00fan Juan Andr\u00e9s Camus, m\u00e1ximo responsable de Valhalla y uno de sus fundadores. El resto proceder\u00e1 de pr\u00e9stamos bancarios.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBuscamos auspiciantes que puedan ser parte del proyecto\u201d, dijo Camus en una entrevista en Santiago el 18 de marzo. \u201cEstamos en negociaciones avanzadas\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto solar Cielos de Tarapaca apunta a producir electricidad las 24 horas con un sistema integrado\u00a0solar\u00a0e\u00a0h\u00eddrico\u00a0que env\u00ede agua de mar a un reservorio elevado durante el d\u00eda y luego la deje fluir por medio de turbinas por la noche.<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto estar\u00e1 ubicado en el desierto de Atacama, en el norte de Chile, en la misma regi\u00f3n donde la desarrolladora espa\u00f1ola Abengoa SA interrumpi\u00f3 las operaciones de su planta solar t\u00e9rmica de 110 megavatios y mil millones que conservaba el calor para generar energ\u00eda por la noche. Las dos plantas representan tecnolog\u00edas rivales para almacenar energ\u00eda solar y asegurar el suministro nocturno.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018PROYECTO ARRIESGADO\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Valhalla obtuvo aprobaci\u00f3n medioambiental en enero para el proyecto y estima que la construcci\u00f3n se iniciar\u00e1 en el segundo semestre de este a\u00f1o. Tanto la planta solar como la\u00a0h\u00eddrica\u00a0estar\u00e1n ubicadas unos 100 kil\u00f3metros al sudeste de la ciudad de Iquique y est\u00e1 previsto que entren en operaciones en 2020.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEs un proyecto arriesgado y caro, ya que la tecnolog\u00eda es rara en la regi\u00f3n\u201d, dijo Ana Verena Lima, una analista de Bloomberg New Energy Finance en Sao Paulo. \u201cPero, por supuesto, todo depender\u00e1 de su eficiencia, de los contratos y de las condiciones financiera que pueda conseguir\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Valhalla compite por ser la m\u00e1s grande de Am\u00e9rica Latina con una planta solar de 616 megavatios propiedad de Empresa de Desarrollo de Energ\u00edas Renovables Alen Walung SA, que se encuentra en construcci\u00f3n en Chile.<\/p>\n<p>En lo que respecta a rentabilidad, Cielos de Tarapaca ser\u00e1 competitiva con nuevas plantas termoel\u00e9ctricas, seg\u00fan Camus, que no proporcion\u00f3 detalles sobre financiamiento. La compa\u00f1\u00eda se concentrar\u00e1 en contratos bilaterales a largo plazo con las minas de cobre del norte de Chile y quiere participar en la pr\u00f3xima licitaci\u00f3n de contratos de energ\u00eda de Chile este a\u00f1o. La compa\u00f1\u00eda negocia financiamiento con bancos locales e internacionales.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEn Chile la gran oportunidad es el suministro de energ\u00eda las 24 horas, algo que, por ahora, la energ\u00eda solar no puede lograr\u201d, dijo Camus. \u201cEl proyecto\u00a0h\u00eddrico\u00a0es una forma muy eficiente de almacenar
