Los resultados se han publicado recientemente en la reconocida revista en l\u00ednea Nature Communications.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los transistores org\u00e1nicos de alto rendimiento son una necesidad clave para los circuitos electr\u00f3nicos mec\u00e1nicamente flexibles requeridos para aplicaciones como los televisores enrollables o los telef\u00f3nos inteligentes plegables. Los transistores de pel\u00edcula delgada org\u00e1nicos horizontales convencionales son muy lentos para esta tecnolog\u00eda debido al transporte de salto en los semiconductores org\u00e1nicos, por lo que no se pueden usar para aplicaciones que requieren altas frecuencias.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Especialmente para los circuitos l\u00f3gicos con bajo consumo de energ\u00eda, como los que se utilizan para la identificaci\u00f3n por radiofrecuencia (RFID), es obligatorio desarrollar transistores que permitan una alta frecuencia de funcionamiento, as\u00ed como caracter\u00edsticas de dispositivo ajustables (es decir, voltaje de umbral).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El grupo de investigaci\u00f3n de Dispositivos y Sistemas Org\u00e1nicos (ODS) en el Centro Integrado de Fotof\u00edsica Aplicada de Dresde (IAPP) del Instituto de F\u00edsica Aplicada ahora ha logrado realizar estos nuevos dispositivos org\u00e1nicos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cHasta ahora, los transistores org\u00e1nicos verticales se han considerado curiosidades de laboratorio que se consideraban demasiado dif\u00edciles de integrar en un circuito electr\u00f3nico. Sin embargo, como se muestra en nuestra publicaci\u00f3n, los transistores org\u00e1nicos verticales con dos electrodos de control independientes son perfectamente adecuados para realizar una l\u00f3gica compleja circuitos, manteniendo el principal beneficio de los dispositivos de transistores verticales, a saber, la alta frecuencia de conmutaci\u00f3n\u201d, dice Kleemann en un comunicado.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los transistores org\u00e1nicos verticales con dos electrodos de control independientes se caracterizan por una alta frecuencia de conmutaci\u00f3n (unos pocos nanosegundos) y un voltaje umbral ajustable. Gracias a estos desarrollos, incluso los transistores individuales se pueden utilizar para representar diferentes estados l\u00f3gicos (AND, NOT, NAND). Adem\u00e1s, el voltaje de umbral ajustable asegura la integridad de la se\u00f1al (margen de ruido) y un bajo consumo de energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Con ello, el grupo de investigaci\u00f3n ha marcado un hito en cuanto a la visi\u00f3n de la electr\u00f3nica flexible e imprimible.
