{"id":21032,"date":"2020-11-12T10:05:01","date_gmt":"2020-11-12T16:05:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=21032"},"modified":"2020-11-12T10:05:12","modified_gmt":"2020-11-12T16:05:12","slug":"cientificos-crean-los-materiales-fluorescentes-mas-brillantes-que-existen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/materiales\/cientificos-crean-los-materiales-fluorescentes-mas-brillantes-que-existen\/","title":{"rendered":"Cient\u00edficos crean los materiales fluorescentes m\u00e1s brillantes que existen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Superando algunos obst\u00e1culos t\u00e9cnicos y de gran antig\u00fcedad, un equipo de cient\u00edficos ha logrado<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>producir lo que describen como los materiales fluorescentes m\u00e1s brillantes que existen<\/strong>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Los investigadores han logrado transferir las propiedades de los colorantes altamente fluorescentes a los materiales \u00f3pticos s\u00f3lidos, abriendo nuevas posibilidades en todos los campos, desde el<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>desarrollo de<span>\u00a0<\/span>c\u00e9lulas solares<span>\u00a0<\/span>de nueva generaci\u00f3n<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>hasta los l\u00e1seres avanzados.<\/p>\n<p>La investigaci\u00f3n fue llevada a cabo por<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>cient\u00edficos de la Universidad de Indiana y de la Universidad de Copenhague<\/strong>, que se propusieron resolver un problema de 150 a\u00f1os de antig\u00fcedad relacionado con los tintes fluorescentes.<\/p>\n<p>El problema se conoce como \u201cquenching\u201d y ocurre cuando los tintes se convierten a estado s\u00f3lido, lo que hace que se agrupen fuertemente y se acoplen electr\u00f3nicamente, apagando su brillo fluorescente. Este problema afecta a la gran mayor\u00eda de los m\u00e1s de 100.000 tintes que existen hoy en d\u00eda.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>El problema del \u201cquenching\u201d y del acoplamiento entre los tintes surge cuando los tintes se encuentran hombro con hombro dentro de los s\u00f3lidos. No pueden evitar \u2018tocarse\u2019 entre s\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p><cite>Amar Flood, Universidad de Indiana.<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Flood y sus colegas creen haber encontrado una soluci\u00f3n a este problema, mediante el uso de la mol\u00e9cula de macrociclo en forma de estrella que impide que las mol\u00e9culas fluorescentes interact\u00faen entre s\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>Estos llamados<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>cynostars<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>se mezclaron con los tintes de color en una soluci\u00f3n incolora, que permite a los tintes mantener sus propiedades \u00f3pticas a medida que la mezcla se forma en lo que se llaman redes de aislamiento i\u00f3nico de peque\u00f1as mol\u00e9culas (SMILES). A su vez, estas redes pueden crecer en cristales, convertirse en un polvo seco, hilarse en pel\u00edculas finas e incluso integrarse directamente en pol\u00edmeros.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>Algunas personas piensan que los macrociclos incoloros son poco atractivos, pero permitieron que el entramado de aislamiento pudiera mostrar completamente la brillante fluorescencia de los tintes sin que los colores de los macrociclos lo impidieran.<\/p>\n<p><cite>Amar Flood.<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Materiales-fluorescentes.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-101569\" width=\"720\" height=\"625\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Materiales-fluorescentes.jpg 720w, https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Materiales-fluorescentes-300x260.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>El equipo ve muchas posibilidades para estos nuevos materiales ultrabrillantes, se\u00f1alando la<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>captura de<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/energias-renovables\/energia-solar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">energ\u00eda solar<\/a><\/strong>, la bioimagen, las tecnolog\u00edas de visualizaci\u00f3n, los materiales de conmutaci\u00f3n de luz y los l\u00e1seres como s\u00f3lo algunas de las aplicaciones potenciales. Por ahora, sin embargo, los investigadores planean continuar estudiando las propiedades de la estructura para sentar las bases de este tipo de usos pr\u00e1cticos en el futuro.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>Estos materiales son totalmente nuevos, por lo que no sabemos cu\u00e1les de sus propiedades innatas van a ofrecer realmente una funcionalidad superior. Tampoco conocemos los l\u00edmites de los materiales. Por lo tanto, desarrollaremos una comprensi\u00f3n fundamental de c\u00f3mo funcionan, proporcionando un conjunto robusto de reglas de dise\u00f1o para hacer nuevas propiedades.
