Este dispositivo creado porMedtronic\u00a0mide solo una pulgada y\u00a0puede ser implantado sin realizar una cirug\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/cardiostim-2014-459x265.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2127 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/cardiostim-2014-459x265.jpg\" alt=\"cardiostim-2014-459x265\" width=\"459\" height=\"265\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Micra fue aprobado\u00a0luego de que\u00a0Medtronic\u00a0testeara el dispositivo en719 pacientes durante 6 meses. En alrededor del\u00a098%\u00a0de ellos, el marcapasos funcion\u00f3 correctamente pues tuvieron un ritmo card\u00edaco adecuado. Cerca del 7% de los pacientes tuvieron complicaciones, como la desviaci\u00f3n del dispositivo, lesiones en el coraz\u00f3n y co\u00e1gulos de sangre.<\/p>\n<p>Los otros marcapasos deben ser conectados por cables, los cuales lanzan impulsos el\u00e9ctricos a trav\u00e9s de las venas al ventr\u00edculo derecho. Sin embargo, los cables pueden causar problemas cuando se infectan (teniendo que reemplazar el marcapasos) o pueden funcionar de mala manera.<\/p>\n<p>A diferencia de \u00e9stos, el dispositivo Micra no necesita usar cables ya que\u00a0se acopla directamente al coraz\u00f3n con peque\u00f1os ganchos\u00a0-realizando la misma funci\u00f3n de lanzar impulsos- y es introducido con un tubo muy delgado de 105 cm. conectado a una vena en la ingle de la persona.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/uedyexyvt8uxzkqtdytd.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2128 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/uedyexyvt8uxzkqtdytd.jpg\" alt=\"uedyexyvt8uxzkqtdytd\" width=\"400\" height=\"270\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Este dispositivo est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado para los pacientes con fibrilaci\u00f3n atrial (arritmia card\u00edaca) como taquicardia o bradicardia. Sin embargo, la FDA recomienda que no sea usado por pacientes que ya tienen un marcapasos implantado, ya que puede interferir con \u00e9ste. Adem\u00e1s, las personas que padecen problemas de obesidad o que son intolerantes a los materiales con los que fue creado el marcapasos de Medtronic tampoco deben
