Ahora, la nueva interpretaci\u00f3n sostiene que el hallazgo fue parte de un sesgo de observaci\u00f3n, ya que actualmente no hay registros del mencionado agrupamiento.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00bfExiste un enorme mundo helado m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de Neptuno, en la periferia de nuestro Sistema Solar? En 2016, un grupo de astr\u00f3nomos del Instituto de Tecnolog\u00eda de California parec\u00eda haber terminado con la inc\u00f3gnita: el Planeta Nueve era una realidad. Lo afirmaban en su\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/iopscience.iop.org\/article\/10.3847\/0004-6256\/151\/2\/22\/meta\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">estudio<\/a>\u00a0ante la presencia de un grupo de objetos transneptunianos, cuyo comportamiento solamente pod\u00eda explicarse frente a la existencia de un cuerpo de mayores dimensiones, que ejerc\u00eda fuerzas gravitacionales sobre estos mini-planetas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Sin embargo, un nuevo estudio realizado por un equipo internacional de investigadores refuta con claridad las bases de este aparente descubrimiento. Seg\u00fan un\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/phys.org\/news\/2021-02-evidence-planet-diminishing-clustering.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">art\u00edculo<\/a>\u00a0publicado en Phys.org, los cient\u00edficos sostienen que el hallazgo de 2016 se basa en un sesgo de observaci\u00f3n, motivado por la forma en la cual se observan las regiones estudiadas.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"fluid-width-video-wrapper\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gIwRNFhFmyo\" name=\"fitvid0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La inc\u00f3gnita del agrupamiento<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Para poder capturar con un telescopio el supuesto grupo de mini-planetas m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de Neptuno, los astr\u00f3nomos necesitaron enfocarse en un \u00e1rea concreta del espacio y en un d\u00eda determinado. Teniendo en cuenta la naturaleza cambiante del cosmos, ese tipo de observaciones puede dar lugar a sesgos naturales y, en consecuencia, a resultados poco fiables o dudosos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">De acuerdo a la visi\u00f3n de los cient\u00edficos responsables del nuevo estudio, que fue publicado recientemente en arXiv, los sesgos de la observaci\u00f3n realizada hace cinco a\u00f1os son m\u00e1s que evidentes: para ellos, no hay ninguna evidencia en la actualidad del agrupamiento \u00fanico de objetos transneptunianos que se constituy\u00f3 en el principal fundamento del trabajo previo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Para llegar a esta conclusi\u00f3n, los especialistas obtuvieron datos de m\u00faltiples telescopios en diferentes partes del mundo, que en ninguno de los casos hab\u00eda sido utilizado en la investigaci\u00f3n anterior. Analizaron trayectorias el\u00edpticas y construyeron simulaciones, determinando finalmente que el agrupamiento de mini-planetas no existe o que, por lo menos, no es posible comprobar su existencia hasta el momento.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/embed\/el-planeta-nueve-podria-no-existir\" width=\"500\" height=\"30\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Una duda que persiste<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A pesar de la contundencia de los resultados de su investigaci\u00f3n, los cient\u00edficos no creen que sea factible a\u00fan descartar completamente la existencia del Planeta Nueve, aunque reconocen que sus hallazgos reducen considerablemente las posibilidades.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"movil-div-gpt-ad_300dchab\" class=\"Creatividad\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-type=\"movil\"><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Por otra parte, en 2020 otro grupo de investigadores hab\u00eda reafirmado el hallazgo de 2016, realizando un\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/tendencias21.levante-emv.com\/se-afianza-la-hipotesis-del-noveno-planeta_a44786.html\" rel=\"nofollow\">profundo estudio<\/a>\u00a0sobre los agrupamientos de peque\u00f1os planetas en la zona de Neptuno. Incluso bautizaron al noveno planeta helado como \u201cThe Goblin\u201d o \u201cEl Duende\u201d. Para este equipo de cient\u00edficos, la gran duda a resolver es si en el \u00e1rea cercana a Neptuno existe el buscado nuevo planeta o si, en su defecto, ejerce su influencia un colosal agujero negro.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Tambi\u00e9n el a\u00f1o pasado, astr\u00f3nomos de Yale University volvieron a insistir en la existencia del Planeta Nueve. Sostuvieron en su\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/iopscience.iop.org\/article\/10.3847\/PSJ\/abc42c\/meta\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">estudio<\/a>\u00a0que el enigm\u00e1tico astro ser\u00eda una supuesta s\u00faper-Tierra, con una magnitud que podr\u00eda alcanzar hasta 10 veces la masa de la Tierra.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Hacia el futuro, las dudas podr\u00edan terminar en los\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/tendencias21.levante-emv.com\/llega-la-hora-de-la-verdad-para-el-noveno-planeta.html\" rel=\"nofollow\">pr\u00f3ximos 10 a\u00f1os<\/a>\u00a0porque la misi\u00f3n Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST) explorar\u00e1 las regiones perif\u00e9ricas del Sistema Solar y concretamente el \u00e1rea contigua a Neptuno, confirmando finalmente la existencia o no del Planeta Nueve.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Referencia<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a class=\"yahoorte_class\" style=\"color: #000000;\" title=\" https:\/\/arxiv.org\/abs\/2102.05601\" href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/abs\/2102.05601\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">No Evidence for Orbital Clustering in the Extreme Trans-Neptunian Objects<\/a>.
