{"id":21821,"date":"2021-03-16T10:56:31","date_gmt":"2021-03-16T16:56:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=21821"},"modified":"2021-03-16T10:56:58","modified_gmt":"2021-03-16T16:56:58","slug":"identifican-50-nuevos-genes-involucrados-en-el-color-de-los-ojos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/ciencia\/identifican-50-nuevos-genes-involucrados-en-el-color-de-los-ojos\/","title":{"rendered":"Identifican 50 nuevos genes involucrados en el color de los ojos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"has-drop-cap\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Un equipo internacional de investigadores dirigido por King&#8217;s College London y el Centro M\u00e9dico de la Universidad Erasmus de Rotterdam ha identificado, en un estudio publicado en la revista &#8216;Science Advances&#8217;, 50 genes nuevos para el color de ojos.<\/span><\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Adem\u00e1s, y tras analizar a 195.000 personas en Europa y Asia, el equipo descubri\u00f3 que el color de los ojos en los asi\u00e1ticos con diferentes tonos de marr\u00f3n es gen\u00e9ticamente similar al color de los ojos en los europeos, que van desde el marr\u00f3n oscuro al azul claro.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Este estudio se basa en investigaciones anteriores en las que los investigadores identificaron una docena de genes relacionados con el color de los ojos, creyendo que hab\u00eda muchos m\u00e1s. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Anteriormente, los cient\u00edficos pensaban que la variaci\u00f3n en el color de los ojos estaba controlada solo por uno o dos genes, con los ojos marrones dominantes sobre los ojos azules.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u201cLos hallazgos son emocionantes porque nos acercan un paso m\u00e1s a la comprensi\u00f3n de los genes que causan una de las caracter\u00edsticas m\u00e1s interesantes de los rostros humanos, que ha desconcertado a generaciones a lo largo de nuestra historia. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Esto mejorar\u00e1 nuestra comprensi\u00f3n de muchas enfermedades que sabemos que est\u00e1n asociadas con niveles espec\u00edficos de pigmentaci\u00f3n \u201d, han detallado los expertos.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Por tanto, prosiguen, este estudio ofrece el conocimiento gen\u00e9tico necesario para mejorar la predicci\u00f3n del color de ojos a partir del ADN, como ya se ha aplicado en estudios antropol\u00f3gicos y forenses, pero con una precisi\u00f3n limitada para los colores de ojos que no son marrones ni azules.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Fuente: infosalus.com<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Un equipo internacional de investigadores dirigido por King&#8217;s College London y el Centro M\u00e9dico de la Universidad Erasmus de Rotterdam ha identificado, en un estudio publicado en la revista &#8216;Science Advances&#8217;, 50 genes nuevos para el color de ojos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":21822,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[56],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-21821","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-ciencia"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.7 -
