inherit;\">Un artefacto creado por investigadores de Nanyang Technological University de Singapur es capaz de comunicarse con las plantas mediante se\u00f1ales el\u00e9ctricas. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">De esta forma, puede hacer que la planta cierre las hojas o tome un alambre, entre otras funciones. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Al integrarla con un brazo rob\u00f3tico, la nueva tecnolog\u00eda permite gestionar los movimientos de la planta con un electrodo y un tel\u00e9fono m\u00f3vil inteligente.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Precisamente, colocando un electrodo adaptable y especialmente dise\u00f1ado en la superficie de una planta Venus atrapamoscas, los investigadores lograron captar se\u00f1ales el\u00e9ctricas para monitorear c\u00f3mo responder la planta a su entorno y transmitir estas se\u00f1ales al vegetal para hacer que cerrar sus hojas. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">El electrodo, compuesto por una pieza de material conductor, fue adherido a la superficie de la trampa para moscas que utiliza la planta carn\u00edvora a trav\u00e9s de un hidrogel.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Tambi\u00e9n conectaron el ejemplar a un brazo rob\u00f3tico y, mediante un tel\u00e9fono inteligente y del electrodo anteriormente, estimularon su hoja para que se cerrara y recogiera un trozo de alambre de medio mil\u00edmetro de di\u00e1metro. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">La innovaci\u00f3n podr\u00eda abrir las puertas a nuevas tecnolog\u00edas y aplicaciones basadas en el mundo vegetal, adem\u00e1s de aportar precisiones sobre el sistema de comunicaci\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica utilizado por las plantas.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Un sistema de comunicaci\u00f3n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Aunque se conoce la capacidad de las especies vegetales para utilizar se\u00f1ales el\u00e9ctricas con el prop\u00f3sito de obtener informaci\u00f3n del entorno, no se ha profundizado a\u00fan en el conocimiento de este sistema comunicacional y sus implicaciones. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Seg\u00fan una nota de prensa, la posibilidad de medir las se\u00f1ales el\u00e9ctricas de las plantas con precisi\u00f3n podr\u00eda tener importantes ventajas tecnol\u00f3gicas.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Para los investigadores asi\u00e1ticos, la optimizaci\u00f3n de dispositivos como el desarrollado en el nuevo podr\u00eda propiciar la llegada de una gran diversidad de nuevas aplicaciones \u00fatiles, como por ejemplo robots inspirados en plantas para distintos usos o dispositivos que mejoran la seguridad alimentaria mediante la detecci\u00f3n temprana de enfermedades en cultivos.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Desaf\u00edos superados<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Los investigadores, que resumen su trabajo en dos art\u00edculos publicados en las revistas Advanced Materials y Nature Electronics, que han clasificado un escollo importante: las dificultades que presentan la captaci\u00f3n de las se\u00f1ales el\u00e9ctricas en las plantas. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Para lograrlo, es vital incorporar un dispositivo que est\u00e9 en contacto directo con el vegetal.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Lo consiguieron sobre la trampa para moscas como se indic\u00f3 anteriormente, y para ello fue crucial la incorporaci\u00f3n de un hidrogel con condiciones espec\u00edficas, que garantiz\u00f3 la adherencia del dispositivo. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">El artefacto posee un di\u00e1metro de 3 mil\u00edmetros y no afecta a ning\u00fan proceso vital de la planta, como por ejemplo la fotos\u00edntesis.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Alimentos m\u00e1s sanos<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Es importante destacar que la optimizaci\u00f3n de esta nueva tecnolog\u00eda podr\u00eda permitir un diagn\u00f3stico precoz de distintas enfermedades y anomal\u00edas que se refieren a los cultivos destinados al consumo humano.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">En otras palabras, el dispositivo ser\u00eda capaz de comunicarse en forma inteligente con la\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><a style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Para los especialistas, esta ser\u00eda una aplicaci\u00f3n de gran utilidad considerando que los inconvenientes ligados al cambio clim\u00e1tico, la creciente contaminaci\u00f3n ambiental e industrial y otros aspectos han incrementado considerablemente los problemas de salud en los cultivos, afectando en consecuencia a la
