inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">A partir de estos estudios ser\u00e1 posible dise\u00f1ar nuevos tratamientos para m\u00faltiples prote\u00ednas, complejos lip\u00eddicos, ADN y carbohidratos, entre otros elementos que conforman complejas estructuras vitales. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Sin embargo, las interacciones entre las biomol\u00e9culas que permiten concretar esta sinfon\u00eda de la vida son extremadamente dif\u00edciles de definir.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Ahora, un nuevo biosensor podr\u00e1 observar las principales clases de biomol\u00e9culas del nanomundo sin perturbarlas. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Su t\u00e9cnica innovadora combina style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Seg\u00fan explican los especialistas en una nota de prensa, cada m\u00ednimo detalle en el universo biomolecular puede marcar un abrupto cambio en su organizaci\u00f3n. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Cuando todo est\u00e1 afinado y existe armon\u00eda, la maravillosa m\u00fasica de la orquesta vital produce prodigios fisiol\u00f3gicos como los style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Seg\u00fan Hatice Altug, una de las autoras de la investigaci\u00f3n publicada en la revista Advanced Materials, \u201csintonizar con este mundo y poder diferenciar entre prote\u00ednas, l\u00edpidos, \u00e1cidos nucleicos y carbohidratos sin alterar sus interacciones es de importancia fundamental para comprender los procesos de la vida y los mecanismos de las enfermedades \u201d, expres\u00f3.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u00bfC\u00f3mo funciona la nueva tecnolog\u00eda? <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Se sabe que las mol\u00e9culas est\u00e1n formadas por \u00e1tomos unidos entre s\u00ed, y que de acuerdo a su masa ya la forma en que se enlazan, generar vibraciones a una frecuencia concreta, al igual que lo hacen las cuerdas de un instrumento musical. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Dichas frecuencias de resonancia son espec\u00edficas de una mol\u00e9cula y permiten diferenciarla, manifest\u00e1ndose principalmente en el rango de las denominadas frecuencias infrarrojas del espectro electromagn\u00e9tico.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Aprovechando esta caracter\u00edstica, el biosensor desarrollado por el equipo de investigadores suizos utiliza la luz infrarroja como el eje o n\u00facleo de su funcionamiento. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Teniendo en cuenta que el rango infrarrojo no es visible para el ser humano, se utilizaron innovaciones en el campo de las metasuperficies y de la Inteligencia Artificial para poder optimizar la nueva tecnolog\u00eda.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Metasuperficies e Inteligencia Artificial<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Por un lado, los materiales artificiales con capacidades excepcionales de manipulaci\u00f3n de la luz a nanoescala permitieron desarrollar funciones mucho m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de aquello que ve el ojo humano. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">En otras palabras, las metasuperficies hacen posible \u00abver\u00bb la luz infrarroja que caracteriza e identifica cada mol\u00e9cula.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Por \u00faltimo, la Inteligencia Artificial aporta la posibilidad de descubrir patrones y esquemas en las biomol\u00e9culas con mayor rapidez y eficacia, organizando la informaci\u00f3n obtenida y aport\u00e1ndole el valor necesario para poder viabilizar avances concretos en el campo m\u00e9dico y farmacol\u00f3gico.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">La identificaci\u00f3n de la \u00abm\u00fasica\u00bb que caracteriza a cada mol\u00e9cula y sus componentes abrir\u00e1 el camino hacia el desarrollo de innovaciones en terapias y tratamientos para todo tipo de enfermedades. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Debido a esto, parece claro que la aplicaci\u00f3n de la nanotecnolog\u00eda en la
