El cient\u00edfico y profesor de la Universidad de Kyot Katsu Takahashi se\u00f1al\u00f3 que se han identificado las mol\u00e9culas fundamentales responsables del desarrollo de los dientes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cLa morfog\u00e9nesis de los dientes individuales depende de las interacciones de varias mol\u00e9culas, incluida la BMP, o prote\u00edna morfogen\u00e9tica \u00f3sea, y la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n de Wnt\u201d, sostuvo Takahashi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A pesar de que la boca normal de un adulto tiene 32 dientes, aproximadamente el 1% de la poblaci\u00f3n tiene m\u00e1s o menos debido a afecciones cong\u00e9nitas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los cient\u00edficos analizaron las causas gen\u00e9ticas de aquellas personas que tienen demasiados dientes para buscar c\u00f3mo obtener la regeneraci\u00f3n de estos en adultos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Seg\u00fan Katsu Takahashi, uno de los autores principales del estudio y profesor de la Universidad de Kyoto, ya se han identificado las mol\u00e9culas fundamentales responsables del desarrollo de los dientes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cLa morfog\u00e9nesis de los dientes individuales depende de las interacciones de varias mol\u00e9culas, incluida la BMP, o prote\u00edna morfogen\u00e9tica \u00f3sea, y la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n de Wnt\u201d, asegura Takahashi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las mol\u00e9culas BMP y Wnt est\u00e1n involucrados en mucho m\u00e1s que el desarrollo de los dientes.
