Un ejemplo concreto son los axones que se ramifican desde las c\u00e9lulas nerviosas localizadas en la m\u00e9dula espinal: conforman redes que llegan a alcanzar una extensi\u00f3n de hasta un metro de longitud. Para entablar una comunicaci\u00f3n efectiva, los axones utilizan mol\u00e9culas de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"box-sizing: inherit; margin: 0px 0px 24px; color: #444444; font-family: Archivo; text-align: justify;\">Estas se\u00f1ales qu\u00edmicas deben cumplir con algunas condiciones espec\u00edficas para poder concretar el \u00abdi\u00e1logo\u00bb entre las neuronas. Sin embargo, y aunque todav\u00eda debe confirmarse su validez en el ser humano, los especialistas destacaron que compartimos alrededor del 75 por ciento de los genes relacionados con enfermedades con estos insectos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"box-sizing: inherit; margin: 0px 0px 24px; color: #444444; font-family: Archivo; text-align: justify;\">Adem\u00e1s, los genes que codifican la prote\u00edna Rab2 se parecen en distintas especies, alcanzando un grado importante de conservaci\u00f3n evolutiva. Todas estas caracter\u00edsticas hacen que los investigadores est\u00e9n convencidos de la existencia del mismo mecanismo o uno muy similar en el sistema nervioso humano.<\/p>\n<p style=\"box-sizing: inherit; margin: 0px 0px 24px; color: #444444; font-family: Archivo; text-align: justify;\">\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 es tan importante la prote\u00edna Rab2? Seg\u00fan los cient\u00edficos, este componente act\u00faa como un enlace vital entre otras prote\u00ednas que impulsan la \u00abcarga\u00bb informativa a transferir entre las neuronas, trabajando como verdaderos \u00abmotores\u00bb de la comunicaci\u00f3n en el sistema nervioso, y la propia informaci\u00f3n que se traslada.
