No hay duda, todos ellos son importantes inventores. Patricia Bath, Sarah Mather, Maria Pereira, Gertrude Bell Elion, Ada Lovelace o Yvonne Brill. Ellas tambi\u00e9n, aunque puedan surgir m\u00e1s dudas. La diferencia no est\u00e1 en la relevancia, sino en la fama. Porque en esta segunda lista est\u00e1n la creadora de la cirug\u00eda l\u00e1ser para curar las cataratas; la inventora del telescopio submarino; la investigadora que est\u00e1 transformando la cirug\u00eda moderna con su material adhesivo para el coraz\u00f3n; la premio Nobel que revolucion\u00f3 el desarrollo de los medicamentos con tratamientos para la malaria, la leucemia o el VIH; la primera programadora que ide\u00f3 el algoritmo computacional y la ingeniera que desarroll\u00f3 el sat\u00e9lite a propulsi\u00f3n. Y son solo algunos de los ejemplos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Tenemos que inspirar a las ni\u00f1as, a las universitarias. Tenemos que darles referencias de mujeres que han triunfado en tecnolog\u00eda, que hay muchas, y explicarles a partir de ejemplos reales que en este sector hay trabajos fant\u00e1sticos que est\u00e1n cambiando la forma en la que vemos el mundo&#8221;, ha explicado Pilar L\u00f3pez, presidenta de Microsoft Espa\u00f1a, en la presentaci\u00f3n en Madrid del evento Make What&#8217;s Next que ha conmemorado del D\u00eda de las ni\u00f1as en las TIC (Tecnolog\u00edas de la Informaci\u00f3n y la Comunicaci\u00f3n).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Microsoft lleva 11 meses preparando este evento global, que se est\u00e1 desarrollando en 27 pa\u00edses al mismo tiempo, con el objetivo de atraer a las j\u00f3venes a la industria tecnol\u00f3gica y a las carreras llamadas STEM (Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda, Ingenier\u00eda y Matem\u00e1ticas, por sus siglos en ingl\u00e9s). Pretenden llegar a cuatro millones de ni\u00f1as en colegios y universidades, solo en Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En el evento de Madrid se han reunido numerosas profesionales de la tecnolog\u00eda de empresas como Telef\u00f3nica, Lenovo, LinkedIn, BBVA, Grupo PRISA o Asus, entre otras. &#8220;Queremos que vean c\u00f3mo mujeres, que podr\u00edan ser ellas, cambian las cosas. Cuando piensan en qu\u00e9 quieren ser de mayores, igual no piensan en ser tecn\u00f3logas, pero porque no hemos explicado bien las dimensiones que puede tener este trabajo&#8221;, insiste L\u00f3pez. Para ello, y adem\u00e1s del evento de este jueves, Microsoft ha creado una plataforma &#8220;sin fecha de caducidad&#8221;. En ella se podr\u00e1n poner en contacto a las j\u00f3venes interesadas en tecnolog\u00eda con trabajadoras en el sector para que las orienten y aconsejen. Los contenidos que se desprendan de este programa de mentoras estar\u00e1n disponibles online para cualquier interesado.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As\u00ed, los retos para la industria tecnol\u00f3gica son dos: primero, conseguir que las ni\u00f1as se interesen por la ciencia, la tecnolog\u00eda y la rob\u00f3tica, \u201cse tiene que acabar esa idea de que la ciencia no es para chicas\u201d, explica la presidenta de Microsoft. Seg\u00fan datos de esta empresa, el 23% de los chicos de 15 a\u00f1os quiere estudiar tecnolog\u00eda, pero s\u00f3lo el 8% de las alumnas quiere estudiar carreras t\u00e9cnicas El segundo escal\u00f3n comienza con aquellas j\u00f3venes que ya han elegido una carrera STEM. En Espa\u00f1a, solo el 18% del personal de las industrias tecnol\u00f3gicas son mujeres. L\u00f3pez explica el dato: \u201cUna vez graduadas y a lo largo de 10 a\u00f1os, el 75% de las mujeres abandonan la carrera tecnol\u00f3gica, tenemos que conseguir que se
