{"id":23064,"date":"2021-06-08T09:04:11","date_gmt":"2021-06-08T15:04:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/?p=23064"},"modified":"2021-06-08T09:04:47","modified_gmt":"2021-06-08T15:04:47","slug":"gigantescos-aerogeneradores-flotantes-de-324-metros-capaces-de-suministrar-energia-a-80-000-hogares-cada-uno","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/energias-alternas\/gigantescos-aerogeneradores-flotantes-de-324-metros-capaces-de-suministrar-energia-a-80-000-hogares-cada-uno\/","title":{"rendered":"Gigantescos aerogeneradores flotantes de 324 metros capaces de suministrar energ\u00eda a 80.000 hogares cada uno"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La empresa noruega Wind Catching Systems (WCS) ha hecho un debut espectacular con un colosal conjunto de aerogeneradores flotantes que, seg\u00fan dice, puede generar cinco veces la energ\u00eda anual de las mayores turbinas individuales del mundo, al tiempo que reduce los costes lo suficiente como para ser inmediatamente competitivo con los precios de la red.<!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Con m\u00e1s de 324 metros de altura, estas gigantescas redes Windcatcher desplegar\u00edan m\u00faltiples turbinas m\u00e1s peque\u00f1as (nada menos que 117 en las im\u00e1genes) en una formaci\u00f3n escalonada sobre una plataforma flotante amarrada al fondo del oc\u00e9ano usando sistemas de la industria del petr\u00f3leo y el gas.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-133480\" src=\"https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Wind-Catching-Systems.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Wind-Catching-Systems.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Wind-Catching-Systems-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Wind-Catching-Systems-768x432.jpg 768w\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" \/><\/span><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Seg\u00fan la WCS, uno solo de estos conjuntos podr\u00eda ofrecer el doble de superficie de barrido que los mayores aerogeneradores convencionales del mundo -el\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/vestas-aerogenerador-v236-15mw\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Vestas V236<\/a>\u00a0de 15 MW- y sus rotores m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os podr\u00edan funcionar mucho mejor con vientos de m\u00e1s de 40 a 43 km\/h, cuando las turbinas m\u00e1s grandes suelen empezar a inclinar sus palas para limitar la producci\u00f3n y protegerse de los da\u00f1os. El efecto global, seg\u00fan WCS, es un aumento del 500% en la producci\u00f3n anual de energ\u00eda, con lo que cada conjunto producir\u00eda suficiente energ\u00eda para abastecer a 80.000 hogares europeos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">En lugar de utilizar componentes individuales grandes, estos Windcatchers se construyen con piezas m\u00e1s peque\u00f1as que son mucho m\u00e1s f\u00e1ciles de trabajar. Una vez instalada la base flotante, la mayor parte del resto puede hacerse en cubierta, sin gr\u00faas ni embarcaciones especializadas, y el dise\u00f1o de la red permite un f\u00e1cil acceso para el mantenimiento continuo.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-133484\" src=\"https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Wind-Catching-Systems-1.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1440px) 100vw, 1440px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Wind-Catching-Systems-1.jpg 1440w, https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Wind-Catching-Systems-1-300x145.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Wind-Catching-Systems-1-768x372.jpg 768w\" alt=\"\" width=\"1440\" height=\"698\" \/><\/span><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">WCS afirma que estos conjuntos est\u00e1n preparados para una vida \u00fatil de 50 a\u00f1os, frente a los 30 a\u00f1os de una sola turbina grande.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La empresa afirma que est\u00e1 preparada para empezar a suministrar energ\u00eda e\u00f3lica marina a la par de la red, es decir, a un coste nivelado de la energ\u00eda (LCOE, teniendo en cuenta los costes de capital) que iguala o supera el precio de la energ\u00eda de la red.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-133486\" src=\"https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Wind-Catching-Systems-2.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1308px) 100vw, 1308px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Wind-Catching-Systems-2.jpg 1308w, https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Wind-Catching-Systems-2-300x213.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ecoinventos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Wind-Catching-Systems-2-768x545.jpg 768w\" alt=\"\" width=\"1308\" height=\"929\" \/><\/span><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Por tanto, seguir\u00e1 siendo una forma relativamente cara de generar electricidad, sobre todo si se compara con la e\u00f3lica terrestre y la solar, pero podr\u00eda suponer un ahorro de costes para la e\u00f3lica marina. Y la WCS afirma que sus proyecciones se basan en un tama\u00f1o de instalaci\u00f3n inicial que cree que ser\u00e1 mucho m\u00e1s econ\u00f3mico a medida que se ampl\u00ede.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La empresa cuenta con el respaldo de las sociedades de inversi\u00f3n North Energy y Ferd, y ha desarrollado la tecnolog\u00eda junto con el proveedor de energ\u00eda e\u00f3lica marina Aibel y el Instituto de Tecnolog\u00eda Energ\u00e9tica IFE.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">WCS
