La pandemia y el aislamiento no solo provoc\u00f3 una disminuci\u00f3n obligada del tr\u00e1nsito vehicular en todas las ciudades del mundo, incluidas, las mexicanas; tambi\u00e9n, a medida que las restricciones se reducen y m\u00e1s comienzan a salir a las calles, cre\u00f3 una reconfiguraci\u00f3n de las horas pico en las grandes urbes.<\/p>\n

Waze, la aplicaci\u00f3n de navegaci\u00f3n propiedad de Google, quiere aprovechar ese cambio para lanzar a nivel global una nueva serie de funciones e informaci\u00f3n que entregar\u00e1 a los usuarios en tiempo real, entre ellas una opci\u00f3n para conocer \u201cpor qu\u00e9\u201d del tiempo, distancia o costo de un viaje.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u00bfQuieres evitar ese tramo de autopista tan congestionado? \u00bfO saber cu\u00e1nto te van a costar los peajes? \u00bfO quieres saber por qu\u00e9 Waze te ha sugerido una ruta menos directa para llegar a tu destino? A partir de ahora tendr\u00e1s el \u201cpor qu\u00e9\u201d en la vista previa de tu viaje, as\u00ed sabr\u00e1s que Waze est\u00e1 haciendo la mejor recomendaci\u00f3n\u201d, explic\u00f3 la empresa en informaci\u00f3n enviada a\u00a0Forbes M\u00e9xico.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

De acuerdo con el documento, la plataforma que tiene alrededor de 140 millones de usuarios activos a nivel mundial, planea hacer uso de toda la informaci\u00f3n que recibe para poder entregarle al usuarios una nueva serie de datos antes de que comiencen su viaje.<\/p>\n

\u201cA partir de hoy, antes de que pongas un pie en tu coche, Waze te dar\u00e1 la bienvenida con una gran cantidad de nueva informaci\u00f3n, como rutas alternativas, condiciones de tr\u00e1fico e informes en tiempo real, para ayudarte a elegir la mejor ruta. De este modo, es m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil que nunca obtener la informaci\u00f3n que necesitas, incluso antes de ponerte en movimiento.\u201d<\/p>\n

Las nuevas funciones comenzar\u00e1n a liberarse desde hoy y los usuarios las ver\u00e1n tanto para Android como para iOS en las siguientes semanas.<\/p>\n

Para M\u00e9xico las nuevas funciones son vitales pues el pa\u00eds es una de las geograf\u00edas m\u00e1s importantes para la firma. De acuerdo con una charla que sostuvo a principios de 2020\u00a0Forbes M\u00e9xico<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0con la entonces directora de Waze en M\u00e9xico, Anasof\u00eda S\u00e1nchez Ju\u00e1rez, la plataforma ya contaba con dos millones de usuarios diarios solo en la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n

\u201cEstamos en 185 pa\u00edses y M\u00e9xico sigue siendo una de las principales ciudades para la compa\u00f1\u00eda y la aplicaci\u00f3n. Si tomamos como ejemplo la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico, el 32% del parque automotor utiliza nuestra aplicaci\u00f3n y algo bien importante que vemos es que nuestros usuarios cada d\u00eda son m\u00e1s fieles y la utilizan m\u00e1s seguido\u201d, dijo entonces la directiva.<\/p>\n
