style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">El equipo descubri\u00f3 que los mayores emisores -centrales el\u00e9ctricas situadas en el 5% m\u00e1s alto en t\u00e9rminos de contaminaci\u00f3n clim\u00e1tica- eran responsables del 73% de las emisiones mundiales de la generaci\u00f3n de electricidad, y tend\u00edan a ser menos eficientes que las centrales el\u00e9ctricas promedio en sus pa\u00edses de origen.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Los c\u00e1lculos del equipo sugirieron que\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">las emisiones se reducir\u00edan aproximadamente un 25%<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> \u00a0si esos contaminadores aumentaran su eficiencia hasta igualar la media mundial.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Cambiar su fuente de combustible de carb\u00f3n o petr\u00f3leo a gas natural podr\u00eda reducir las emisiones globales en casi un 30%, y la aplicaci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00edas de captura de carbono podr\u00eda reducir las emisiones casi a la mitad.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Los investigadores afirman que centrarse en los supercontaminadores del mundo podr\u00eda
