style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> \u00a0CEO y cofundador de Hermeus, AJ Piplica.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Quarterhorse utiliza el motor de ciclo combinado basado en turbinas (TBCC) de la compa\u00f1\u00eda, que sigue el modelo del peque\u00f1o motor turborreactor J85 de un solo eje de GE. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">El TBCC usa un turborreactor convencional para hacer que el avi\u00f3n alcance una velocidad alta, pero luego se hace cargo de un motor de respiraci\u00f3n de aire m\u00e1s simple. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Como se muestra style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Hermeus se fund\u00f3 en 2018 y cuenta con respaldo de riesgo. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Piplica trabaj\u00f3 anteriormente en pruebas de vuelo hipers\u00f3nico en Generation Orbit, y otros miembros del equipo proven\u00edan de Blue Origin y SpaceX.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Dada la\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/science-environment-58130705\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">terrible perspectiva<\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> \u00a0emitida esta semana en un informe del Panel Intergubernamental sobre Cambio Clim\u00e1tico (IPCC), el futuro de los viajes a\u00e9reos fr\u00e1gil. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Ciertamente no vamos a volver a montar en botes a trav\u00e9s de los oc\u00e9anos, y todav\u00eda faltan d\u00e9cadas para los aviones totalmente el\u00e9ctricos, pero con sus altas emisiones, los viajes a\u00e9reos ser\u00e1n objeto de un escrutinio cada vez mayor en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os, y habr\u00e1 presi\u00f3n para minimizar el vuelo como medio de transporte.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Si el sentimiento anti-vuelo se acelera (juego de palabras), ser\u00e1 dif\u00edcil justificar ir de Nueva York a Londres en 90 minutos en un vuelo comercial. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Sin embargo, las aplicaciones militares del vuelo hipers\u00f3nico significan que las pruebas y el desarrollo de la tecnolog\u00eda no
