El problema es que el cemento es un cuerpo opaco que no permite el paso de la luz\u201d, dijo Jos\u00e9 Carlos Rubio.<\/p>\n<p>El\u00a0cemento\u00a0generalmente pasa desapercibido aunque forma parte del entorno. Sus ventas son indicadores de la econom\u00eda de un pa\u00eds, est\u00e1 en todas partes del mundo y es considerado el material m\u00e1s utilizado por el ser humano despu\u00e9s del agua.<\/p>\n<p>Tradicionalmente el cemento es un polvo que al adicionarle agua se disuelve como una pastilla efervescente. \u201cEn ese momento se empieza a formar un \u2018gel\u2019, parecido al que se usa para el cabello, pero mucho m\u00e1s s\u00f3lido y resistente; tambi\u00e9n se crean hojuelas o cristales que son subproductos no deseados en el cemento endurecido\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2424 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/41271.jpg\" alt=\"41271\" width=\"647\" height=\"422\" srcset=\"https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/41271.jpg 647w, https:\/\/otech.uaeh.edu.mx\/noti\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/41271-600x391.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 647px) 100vw, 647px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>En la investigaci\u00f3n se enfoc\u00f3 en modificar la microestructura del cemento a fin de que no tuviera cristales y fuera totalmente gel, logrando que absorbiera la\u00a0energ\u00eda solar\u00a0y luego la regresara al medio ambiente en forma de luz.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Por la ma\u00f1ana el edificio, carretera, camino o plataforma petrolera que cuente con el nuevo cemento puede absorber la energ\u00eda solar y emitirla durante la noche hasta por doce horas. Incluso aunque el d\u00eda est\u00e9 nublado, con los pocos rayos que llegan es suficiente para recargarse, incluso puede usarse en espacios con poca luz como un ba\u00f1o, refiere el investigador.<\/p>\n<p>El investigador Jos\u00e9 Carlos Rubio explic\u00f3 que la mayor\u00eda de los materiales fluorescentes est\u00e1n hechos de pl\u00e1stico y duran en promedio tres a\u00f1os porque se deterioran con los\u00a0rayos ultravioleta; sin embargo, el nuevo cemento es resistente al Sol y tiene un tiempo de vida aproximado de cien a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, es ecol\u00f3gico porque se hace de arena, tierra o arcilla lo cual forma el gel, y durante su fabricaci\u00f3n s\u00f3lo se libera vapor de agua. Actualmente existe en color azul y verde, y la intensidad de\u00a0luminiscencia\u00a0puede regularse para evitar deslumbrar a los ciclistas o automovilistas.<\/p>\n<p>Actualmente, la investigaci\u00f3n se encuentra en la etapa de transferencia y comercializaci\u00f3n y se busca su aplicaci\u00f3n en yeso y otros productos para la
